I have only seen one other antique lamp like this before and it is in the 20’s and 30’s Electric Lighting book by James Edward Black. This is a VERY RARE ANTIQUE metal lamp that probably will never surface again. I believe it is a French Lamp. I will try my best to point out all the amazing details this lamp has to offer but you really need to see this in person to appreciate the craftsmanship. The top of the lamp where the waterfall arms join together there is a glass vase or epergne that rests down inside. It was made to hold fresh flowers or it can be removed. It is amber in color with a lovely cut design. Each ... moreof the 4 waterfall arms uses a standard size bulb and each of the arms has a tulip shape leaf on the ends. Each of the ends is adorned with 6 long crystal prisms. Below the lighted waterfall arms is an attached metal bowl that is perfect for holding so many things. From fruit, to flowers or as you see in one of the photos mercury glass Christmas strands and bulbs. My favorite part of the lamp is all the original painted Barbola trim. It is incorporated all throughout the lamp. On the ends of the trophy bowl, the base and even up where the glass epergne holder is. The measurements are as follows: height is 17 ¼ inches tall and 17 ½ inches from arm to arm. The bowl measures 10 inches in diameter. The overall condition is amazing with just enough aged patina in all the right spots to give it that Old World Charm! I am afraid my poor photos do not do this lovely piece justice. It is a solid silver Epergne to hold flowers with a centre section and three removeable vases around the sides. Overall it stands approx. 7 inches high and is a lovely stylized shape. It was once given as a gift to a military person as there is an engraved presentation inscription on the base which reads: PRESENTED TO SERGT. C W THORNLEY ON THE OCCASION OF HIS MARRIAGE. FROM HIS FELLOW SERGEANTS. W.R.C.C.S. NOV. 1916" see photo) Obviously he was presented with this during World War 1. The inscription on the base is not too deeply cut so I guess it could be polished out by a silversmith but personally I think it gives it character but I have not researched the person in question. Insignificant bruises which really are not very noticeable and there is a little wear to the main hallmark on the base but this is to be expected on a functional and well used piece of silver. There are no actual splits or holes I have found. The base is part weighted and overall the whole piece weights approx. 230 grams. This is a beautiful Victorian era single lily horn epergne. The assembled epergne stands 20" high. The 10" diameter base exterior is cranberry opalescent with a fluted edge. The base interior is white opalescent. There are metal connectors that attach the lily to the base. The slim bottom of the horn is yellow Vaseline with fine white stripes through the Vaseline. Vaseline rigaree wraps around the body of the lily.The Vaseline glows under a black light.The lily is cranberry with 8 petals at the top. The back of the lily tips are white opalescent. Condition is great. Especially for age. One petal has a tiny chip at the center, as shown in photo 8. One very small nub on the rigaree is off. These are very minor issues. This green glass Victorian epergne is in fair to good condition. The two flowers look hand-blown and are in excellent condition with no breakage that I can see. The bowl that is the base has some issues: If you look at pic 5. There is something missing from the center. The edge/rim as seen is pic#7 is missing a rounded point, also in pic#8, it looks like there was some repair to a broken piece or there is a crack here. RARE ANTIQUE FRENCH ART NOUVEAU IRON VINE IN BRASS EPERGNE VASE FLOOR LAMP 61"
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. And somewhat rare, antique floor lamp. This towering(61" lamp dates to the early 1900s and features superb details in French Art Nouveau style. The lamp features scrolled wrought iron with an opened, birdcage base. There are 3 blooms on the base which can be used to house taper candles. A large, brass epergne vase extends from the base to about mid point of the lamp. The vase is bronze colored with some muted golden highlights. Gesso accents are present on the vase as well, though some of the gesso has come off over the years. There are 5 tall, willowy vines emerging from the vase. Three of the vines have ribbed leaves and the two tallest vines have smooth leaves. The blooms on the vines house the sockets. The lamp is quite striking and very sculptural in appearance. It is not marked but it is ... moreof very fine quality. It is in good, antique condition. As stated earlier, there is missing gesso in some areas. The iron has a slight rusted patina in some areas. The wiring is very old and, while working, needs to be addressed. The lamp is designed for regular, 100w light bulbs(not the small, candelabra style) This is a beautiful lamp with graceful, elegant lines and form. The lamp is 61" at the tallest vine. Antique Victorian Reed & Barton Nautical Anchor EPERGNE w/Glass Vase Centerpiece
Reed& Barton Nautical Themed Epergne 17" tall x 8" wide. There is no damage to the glass. Which is hand painted and enameled. The stem and anchors were re-attached long ago, and one of the anchors has some missing rope at the end. Because of that, the piece is a little crooked when you look directly at it. The gilt surface on top of the silverplate is worn and needs to be polished, that is if you don't like the aged look. Still this is a rare and stunning piece. Signed on the bottom. Pair Antique 800 Silver Figural Vase Holders Alle de Haas Puttis Cherubs Epergne
This auction is for a beautiful matched pair of antique 800 silver vase holders by Dutch silversmith Alle de Haas. The frames have twisted and scrolled sections with tiny applied cherubs or puttis and floral swags around the center and footed bases. These were originally made to hold tapered vases or epergnes. Both have the AH1 mark for Alle de Haas along with indiscernible incised marks which are presumably the silver marks. There is one tiny repair behind a single cherub(see last picture) and there is age-related patina to the silver. But these are otherwise in very good condition for their intricacy and age. Each measures approximately 4 3/4" tall and 3" wide from foot to foot.

Beautiful Antique Victorian 4 Lily Trumpet Epergne Pink or Cranberry to Opalscent Glass. Each small trumpet sits in a metal(probably brass) socket fitting designed like a flower mounted in a bowl with ruffled rim; the tallest trumpet screws into the holder. The bowl measures about 10" in diameter and 2-1/2" high. The tallest trumpet stands about 20" high and 5-1/4" across the ruffled rim. Each smaller trumpet stands about 13" high and 4-1/4" across the ruffled rim. Each trumpet has clear glass applied rigaree around. Unmarked. Unknown maker. Overall good condition with these exceptions: one of the small trumpets: 1. I feel some roughness toward the bottom end of the rigaree and I think a single protrusion has broken off at this point. 2. Other than these noted flaws, there are no chips, cracks or scratches to the piece, no damage on any of the pink rims. There is a speck of dirt in the bottom of the tallest trumpet which I have been unable to remove because I cannot get down that far. Each trumpet fits securely into it's socket. Shipping will be somewhat higher for this piece than normal due to how fragile it is. I will double box each trumpet and bowl, which will require a larger box than if I don't double box. I want this piece to arrive safely. It has been in my personal collection for more years than I care to remember and I would like a new owner to enjoy it as much as I have. Antique Green Glass Epergne Lily Flutes Trumpet Ruffled Part Lot
Up for your consideration today is a sad story! I inherited this fabulous green glass epergne from my grandmother over 20 years ago. A guest in my home went to pick up the piece to get a closer look and handled it by the tall middle lily. The bottom bowl slipped out of it's socket and crashed to it's death! The four trumpet lily flutes and glass nesting socket remain un-harmed. So I'm selling these pieces as a part lot. I don't know the maker. But this is a 1920s-1930s piece. Each lily is encircled with hand applied glass threading. The flutes are finished with intricate ruffled"crimped" edges. The tall middle lily is 13" tall. The three curved side lilies are 8 1/2" tall. The opening at the base of the nesting socket measures 7/8" wide. That's the size your bottom bowl socket will need to fit, ... more7/8" wide! There are NO chips to any ruffled edge. But on 3 of the 4 applied glass threads, the very thin tips at the very bottoms of the threadings have slightly chipped away(which is very common on these old pieces, and is a testament to it's 90 yrs of age) and there are 2 chips at the opening of one nesting socket. To be honest, none of these flaws can be seen or noticed, only upon super close examination. I only mention these because I am meticulous with my descriptions and I disclose every single flaw present! The color of this glass is unique! It is almost a teal color, it's a bright green vs. the washed out, light colored green we associate with"green depression" glass. You will love the color! It is 20" tall and 14" across at the side horns and 9 1/2" across at the ruffled base. The two side horns do come out but I didn't want to force the centerpiece out as it is fixed with white plaster type paste. However. I may try and get it apart for shipping. This is a beautiful piece which I date to the 1880's to 1900's. Epergnes were used as centerpieces in the late 19th century. The applied clear rigoree that trails around the horns makes it especially beautiful. There are no cracks and no chips. Offered is a quality antique Pair of Cut Crystal Candelabras with Epergne centers.adorned with lusters. Standing approximately 16 inches tall. Each'stick' spans about 14 inches.and is 5 inches deep(front to back) at the cut crystal circular base. Cut decoration extends throughout the central base and flows outward over the arms.predominantly crossed diagonals and thumbprint cuts. Bobeches are also cut- as are the Epergnes(and difficult to photograph) Condition is very good overall. One'stick' stands a bit taller than the other(less than one inch) and the epergne tilts very slightly in one direction(same stick) There is no apparent damage to any of the crystal with one exception- One of the four bobeches has damage.as follows: The bobeche consists of two pieces- a glass cup that hugs the candle. Which rests upon a traditional ... morebobeche that floats below the candle. The cup that hugs the candle has lost much of the neck that secures the piece to the hardware(rests in place as is) And the underlying bobeche piece has a triangular shard missing from the center outward with radiating cracks.the two pieces apparently collided and now no longer meet due to the missing shards. None of the damage to the crystal bobeche affects the structural integrity of the Candelabras.beyond one wobbly bobeche. There is some variation in the crystal lusters(prisms)which I didn't notice until I started to review the photos. I should have taken more time setting these up for photos. A bunch of additional lusters came to me with the'sticks' I'm very confident that there are better'matches' that I can add as substitutes. The candelabras are marked"Czechoslovakia" and a number(as shown) this mark appears on the metal disc that the arms and epergnes attach to in the centerpiece. I searched for a mark on the crystal. But didn't find one. Baccarat is known for making Lamps of this style.I'm listing as Baccarat Style. I will disassemble the pair for shipping unless instructed to do otherwis

This is a beautiful antique epergne made in the early 1900's. The single lily epergne stands 9" high on 3 feet. The bowl diameter is 5 3/4" and is 3" high. The lily fits into a center opening and is attached. It is crystal with vertical threading. The ruffled edge has a yellow vaseline glass crest. Antique Victorian Era Aqua Blue Vaseline Glass Epergne Centerpiece
All parts are original and are antique- the bowl and the 3 side flutes are original and go together- the center is a replacement- I had the center flute and I am including it because it looks pretty as a replacement until you can find a matching center or something similar in color. This is very pretty as is since the stems are all vaseline glass- it looks pretty good. I will add more photos and measurements later tonight. This auction is for a beautiful. Feminine, single flute epergne by Van Bergh silverplate. The flute is cased pink and white glass with an enameled floral design. The silverplate base has a ring of ribbons around the bottom with acanthus leaves reaching toward the top. The base is monogrammed(looks like JDS) The underside has a stamp for Van Bergh silverplate and a model number of 3653. There is minor plate loss as shown, but overall this is in really nice condition. Measures approximately 12 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" wide across the base.

Wonderful Quality 19th Century Glass DESCRIPTION: From an estate in Grand Rapids. Michigan who collected very high-end, rare antique porcelain and glass. The glass has substantial weight to it. Measuring 1/16" wide on all pieces. Posy and vase dishes are 8-9+ oz each, with the large bowl weighing 4 lbs 15 oz. The glass is a light yellow or light amber color. It's not vaseline glass. It has been tested. There is a lovely luster effect to this glass. You'll find lovely art deco styled enameling on all pieces. This set has been hand painted on one side of each piece. With ... morethe exception of the large bowl. A peacock feather design can be found on each piece. The tops of each piece have a gilded edge. There is a wonderful floral swag relief on both sides of the large bowl with detailing on the sides as well(see photos) MEASUREMENTS: This centerpiece when arranged on a table in their ring shape measures 21-1/4" long x 8-1/2" wide(note from photos: large bowl and stem vases all fit within the circle perfectly) The large bowl measures 9-3/4" length(widest point) x 4-1/8" wide x 4-3/4" tall The tall stem vases measure 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" x 6" tall The low posey dishes vary in length(5-1/2" to 6-3/4" x 1-7/8" wide x 1-7/8" tall CONDITION: Very good for it's age. Up for auction is this Cambridge epergne candelabra bobeche with 8 prisms and 1 vase. The vase is 5 1/4 inches long and has no chips or cracks. The bobeche looks to be in good condition with no chips or cracks. The 8 prisms are not in perfect shape. 5 of them have the wires to hang them by. But 3 of them don't. It's about 15/16" long& about 5/8" at widest. There are 2 holes at the top& one at the bottom to accomodate the chain. It could use a proper cleaning but ... moreis in good vintage condition with no damage I can detect. I took one similar to this. Put it on a tassel end[lariat style] chain& stuffed it with a bit of cork to hold it in place. It worked out wonderfully& I have gotten many compliments on it.
