Mints, candy, nuts, etc. Made by Hocking Glass Company in mint condition. Here's some history: Moonstone- 1941-1946) Crystal/ White Opalescent. Crystal/ Green Opalescent, Cranberry Flashed Opalescent, Other Experimental Colors) Moonstone was one of Hocking's most loved early to mid 40s patterns. This pattern is often confused with Fenton's French Opalescent Hobnail but the shape of the pieces and the hobs are vastly different. Fenton's hobs are more pointed. While the Moonstone hobs are smoother to the touch and more rounded. There were 22 pieces of Moonstone in the regular line. These can all be found in crystal with white opalescence. For some reason this pattern captured the imagination of many Hocking workers. Many experimental pieces of this pattern can be found. Some of them are unusual colors that were made from the existing 22 molds, while others were made from entirely new molds. All the experimental pieces do have the basic characteristics of Moonstone. The hobs are the same and many of the pieces have a rounded rayed pattern embossed in their base. This piece was ... moremade sometime in the late 1890's or early 20th Century. The condition of this server is fairly good- I did polish it but it could stand more polishing. I found tarnish cleaning technique- using a homemade tarnish dip using boiling hot water. A little salt and baking soda with aluminum foil. There is minor age appropriate scratches on this piece, and some wear to the nickel silver plate. Once cleaned up- this is a very beautiful of English electroplated nickel silver server~ please LOOK at the many photos posted for more on details on the look and condition of this piece. Included are before and after photos- before cleaned and after. First and second photos This is a medium/large size fine English Silver plated vegetable server w/ cover. This server weighs more than 6 lbs and measures about 7 inches high to the top of the handle. And is 14 ½ long- pan measures about 2 inches deep and 10 inches wide. The lid has to be pressed down to close tightly to hold in steam from hot water you would place in boiler base. This is a little bent on one edge- but hardly noticeable and doesn't hinder it too much from closing snug. Inside of serving pan has what may be some pitting. Please see all photos to consider. This server has a classic design. It features a fancy beaded(removable) handle with a scrolling design. Bottom of boiler pan is marked“JS&S” in a cartouche along with an animal form of a Beaver. And a crown. Pan insert is marked JS&S cartouche w/ Beaver and EPNS mark(electroplate nickel silver) 820 W and no crown cartouche. If you have questions- please ask. There is no reserve. Their age and origins are a bit of a mystery but I would think that they are either European or Asian. Unfortunately. They are not marked but I have personally tested them and found them to be sterling silver and I will fully guarantee that they are or provide a full refund. They have hung on her wall until she passed away a few years ago. I don't know whether she attached the metal wall hangers to them or if she bought them that way. Each dish is 11" diameter to the in part of the scalloped edge and 11 1/2 to the outer part. There's a quilted effect on outer dish that I absolutely love(see photo) and the translucent sheen on the milk glass is exquisite. Even the back of the dishes display an artistic sunburst. They appear to be a set although not perfectly matched which gives me the sense perhaps they are handpainted and or molded? Either or they are both old and in wonderful condition and damage free. They have scalloped flowing edges and molding. Each have an incised underglaze number which I believe appears to be"166" and one plate has a blue"7" and the other a blue"5" or perhaps they are artist marks? I know very little about dishes so they may still be all the same manufacturer but have different stamps, I don't know. There are also a few pieces that someone has marked in silver on the bottom with a date of 1943. There are 12 unique square cups, one small round cup that has a chip along the rim, 2 4-1/4" coasters, 11 square saucers that match the cups, 16 round 5-5/8' saucers, 8 6-3/8" plates, 4 7-1/2" ... moreplates, 3 10" plates, and 8-7/8" plates. They are hallmarked for Chester 1909-10 with the maker's mark JD WD(James Deakin& Sons Ltd) The salt dishes are in an octagonal shape with gadrooning around the edges. This auction is for a lovely old set of 4 hand painted footed bowls. They are nut/ mint or butter pat size. They measure approx. 2 3/4" x 1 1/4" tall. Sits on three small feet. Marked: Made in Japan. Looks like Nippon to me. Fine porcelain that light shines through. The dishes are scalloped shaped all around. The porcelain is hand painted very well with deep purple and gold trim along with pink and purple flowers and raised white paint to accent. I see no wear in the paint even the gold trim. No chips. Two Antique Pottery Leaf Dish Dishes Applied Clay Seal Marked 377
Well. Several months ago when I bought these, I did some research and found the maker. And heck if I can remember or find it again! They are pretty, and have an interesting look to them. Each one has an applied, scroll-y seal with the number 377 stamped into it. Each is approx. 6" X 6.375" The gray one is glazed on the top but not the bottom. It has a chip on the bottom of one point: the 4th point over from the left on the photo of the back. The yellow one(which by the way is not as dark a yellow as my photos suggest; it is more creamy and lighter) has an edge chip on the front, between the 4th& 5th points from the left. And another chip to the underside of one point, right at the end. Because the plates are so busy, and only one of the chips is on the front, they don't jump out at you. Antique Germany 3 Piece Children's Dishes Circus Theme,Cup, Saucer, Plate
This is a very adorable antique 3 piece set of porcelain children's dishes. The pictures are all circus theme. The cute little cup has a pig jumping through a hoop. A jester, and a monkey. The saucer has a dog on a pillow and a wooden circus wagon. The plate has a clown and a girl horse trainer along with a donkey, a jester, and the monkey again. The plate is about 6 1/2" the saucer is 5" and the cup is 2 1/2" tall. There are no chips in any of the pieces. All are marked in red"Germany" with different ending numbers. The cup has a tiny flaw in the top rim but no porcelain loss. It actually looks like it's under the glaze. This set is adorable! I'm always happy to combine shipping.

Antique Child's Porcelain England 4 piece Dishes, Plate, Cup, Bowl, & Pitcher
This is a very old set of 4 children's dishes. Although they were all purchased from the same individual who said they had belonged to her as a child. They don't look like they match perfectly. The pictures do but the style of the plate is smooth while the other 3 pieces are more swirled with design. However, together they look so cute. There is a the cutest squirrel on the plate and the cup and the bowl. The little picture has had a badly repaired broken handle but still looks cute in a display but doesn't add any value to the set. These are rare and I went through much research to find the exact name of this particular pattern. Each plate measures 6 1/8" in diameter with a 3/4" depth. There is some crazing from age on the plates and one of the plates has a chip on the rim. Vintage china may have crazing which is actually a sign of its vintage state and authenticity. These are four beautiful yellow plates with a gold rim trim and amazing orange floral design pattern. They would be a wonderful addition to any china collection.

You are bidding on this 6 piece child’s ornate antique table set consisting of a butter dish with lid. Sugar with lid, spoon holder and creamer. This set was produced by the Higbee Company in the 1908-1918 time-frame. The original name for this set is“Style” but collectors continue to call it by the more descriptive name of“Arrowhead-in-Ovals” All pieces are in wonderful condition with no chips. Cracks or discoloration. I only found one bubble in the base of the sugar which is not unusual for this type of old glass. The following are approximate measurements: The butter dish is 2½” complete height and 3¾” across the base. The creamer is 2-3/8 high and 3-3/8” from spout to handle. Vintage - Antique pair of Pedestal Candy Dishes...Milk Glass and frosted depress
Up for auction is a pair of pedestal candy dishes.one is white milk glass and the other is a frosted blue depression glass. The white one I picked up at an estate sale and the blue I found at a local thrift store. When doing research on these. I believe them to be either from Westmoreland or one of the mid-western glass companies that were producing in and around the 1930s and 40s. They are beautiful pieces and even cooler that there are two with the same design but different colors. There are no cracks, chips or breaking on either of the dishes. I find no apparent post production damage of any type. No cracks nor chips. There is what appears to be a very faint 1/2" crack by the handle of one of the sauce dishes. I feel this is a production issue because it appears to have gold gilt in the opening. On another sauce dish is a 1/2" hair sized streak in the glaze. CIRCA 1910'M' Morimura Family CREST WREATH. Exceptional pair of Antique Sheffield Silver Plate Entree Dishes c. 1870
This stunning pair of antique silver entree dishes were purchased from the Fine Antique Silver Dept at the renowned Spauldings in Chicago. Gadroon edge. Remarkably heavy over 4lbs each. Each piece measures 11" x 8 1/2" Removable bayonet handles.There are some tiny scratches on the interior and one very small dent in the corner of one of the lids. Otherwise they are in exceptional condition. Hallmarks and additional markings are included in photos.

The Tek Sing Shipwreck Cargo of 1822(True Star) was a large ocean going Junk. 60 meters in length, that set sail from Amoy harbour in China, bound for Batavia(now Jakarta) on the island of Java. On board were merchants, crew and 1600 passengers. The cargo holds were packed with over 300,000 pieces of porcelain, and in between and on top was stowed black and green teas, raw silk, bamboo furniture, mother of pearl tortoiseshell and medicinal herbs. Two weeks into the voyage the Captain attempted a shorter route through the Gaspar Straits. On the evening of 5 February the Tek Sing ran onto the Belvidere Reef and sank with a loss of almost 1800 lives, which is even more than the Titanic. Its incredible cargo of porcelain, the largest and most varied ever recovered was auctioned in Stuttgart, Germany over a ten day period in November 2000. This treasure was salvaged by Captain Michael Hatcher, the most successful underwater treasure hunter of our time. 6-Antique Porcelain Bone Dishes Pink. Yellow& Green Flowered Gold-Rimmed All six have different variations of the same design. 3 were made by East End Pottery Co. between 1903-1907. The other 3 were also made in The East Liverpool Pottery District by a Co. called Columbia that was only in existence in 1910. All are in very good condition except for a lot of grazing.
