When the Company reverted to China towards the end of the 17th century the Japanese Style was asked to be produced and here we have one of these early Chinese Arita style Dish's. The ample use oif Gold not only in the Decoration as in the Mon and inside the blue decoration but is also present covering the rim of the dish rather than in the later pieces where Iron Oxide was used. The Dish is also Moulded into Scalloped edges(16 them) and the central Medallion design harps back to the japanese style. There are no Spurs within the foot rim and have same old problem of Fritting which also lead to orders for plain Japanese Plates for China since this problem was so intractable. CONDITION: Please. Mid 19thC. You are looking at a lovely pair of Chinese dishes or bowls. In a quatrefoil shape and standing on a small foot. They display a Cantonese style of famille verte decoration with enamelled flowers on one and vegetables and fruit on the other. Both designs continue to the base, and the foot of each is banded in green, black and red. Measuring 7” long. These delightful bowls date to the mid 19 th century and are in very good condition with no hairlines. Cracks or other damage except a very shallow chip to the underside of the vegetable bowl foot. There is also some wear and tear to the enamels(mostly on the flower bowl– see photos) They make a ... morebeautiful pair. C. 1890, and an earlier Satsuma teapot, c. 1870. These pieces are finely painted with flowers, various geometric designs, and scenes of everyday life between two elders. We love the detail on these beautiful small antique porcelain dishes. This listing is for nine matched. Each is 3 and 3/8 inches wide and 3/4 inch high. Each is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Tho one has a tiny spot on each of goldleaf missing and a tiny hairline crack very hard to see on the back. We consider these to be Satsuma, judging from the moriage and subject matter. Photos are good but don't show the amount of goldleaf they have. Each has a lot of goldleaf- it is not showing up in the photos, probably because of how reflective the goldleaf is when it is photographed. Where you see grey in the photo encircling the woman and two men and a cross in a circle above, it is really goldleaf in great condition! Colors are wonderful in browns. These shrimp dishes/ serving dishes were crafted in China. Circa 1850s. They are decorated with wonderful Chinese landscape scenes. The rims also feature a fanned decoration on one side of the dish. They have seen use over the years. The glaze has flaked off around the edges on both pieces. Various age spots are also visible in areas. This is the good crystal stemware and one of my favorites is Federal Glass- these dishes are marked with an F in a shield. NY 1906 EXCELLENT CONDITION- NO MONOGRAM This is a stunning set of six sterling silver individual nut dishes and one master nut dish produced by Woodside Sterling Company. New York. This set was a wedding gift to my grandparents in 1906. Each individual nut dish measures 3 1/2" x 2 3/8" x 3/4" high and the master dish measures 6 1/8" x 4 1/2" x 1 1/2" high. Total weight is 16.9 grams. There are no monograms on any of the pieces. The pieces bear the Woodside Sterling Company mark, Sterling" and"1672" on the master and"1654" on the individuals. The elegant reticulated design is accented by a beaded rim and round ball feet. I rescued this rusty pair of graniteware pie pans form the basement at an estate sale. They are a little grimy and one has a tiny hole(see photo) But they are sure to add character to a vintage kitchen or a rustic cabin. They measure approx. across the top 9 inches and 7 inches across the bottom.

Open salt dishes,condiment, pepper, spice, herb.etc. one dish measures approx 3.5 inches long by 2.2 inches. 2nd dish measures approx 2.1" and the 3rd dish is smaller at 2.9" long by 1.7 inches.2 spoons have similar design( fat and pointy handles) measure approx 2.8 inches long.bowl is around.7 diameter. and the 3rd spoon has a different design. measures a tad over 2.5 inches long.They are in excellent vintage condition.
