This auction features an antique or vintage sterling silver and crystal decanter. Perfume. Cologne, cruet or bottle stopper. It is marked STERLING and a W in a wreath which represents the Woodside Sterling Company of New York. New York. Established circa 1896 they were succeeded by Richard M. Woods& Company in the mid 1920's so this would have been made in between ca. 1896 and ca. 1925. It measures 1 3/4" in diameter and 2 1/4" tall. The stem measures approximately 9/16" in diameter where the silver meets the crystal. It has a two letter monogram on the top which could be an EF or ET. It is in excellent used condition. Tiny indentations on front and back and some minor surface scratches from use. No chips to the crystal but there are a few scratch marks on the glass stem. Please see my! Up for sale is this glass perfume bottle. Made in Europe in the early 1920s. Plus or minus a decade. Can't date it exactly. The bottle is very elegant with a subtly aggressive design. Has a large base with interesting cut overall. The glass has an olive-green tint. The vaporizator is of the hand-pump type. The pump along with the hose is missing. There are spots on the metal parts. There are no cracks. Nor large dents on the glass. There are a few small areas of ruggedness and two scattered small dents along the edges of the glass cuts. This is a RARE and Wonderful Antique Perfume or Cologne Bottle dating to Birmingham. England 1886 by Colen Hewer Cheshire! What a Unique and Exquisite Ormolu Caddy the Bottle sits in with the Center elongated medallion with an Original Water Color Painting! The Bottle is Complete with inner Cut Crystal Stopper under Sterling Lid. Hallmarked with the CC for Colen Cheshire, Anchor for Birmingham, Script m for 1886 and one other hallmark, I can't quite make out. It also is hallmarked on the inner Gold Washed Bulbous Top with the Lion Passant and date letter. No Chips, Cracks or Repairs! The Bottle stands 6" in Height and 3" x 3" Square. It may have a couple tiny tiny flea bites but none I can see. The Bottle has a STAR cut Base. It is Hallmarked"STERLING" and has the front engraved with MR.W(yes. MISTER) I thought it was strange to have a Man's name, but this was likely used for his Cologne. It has a nice hand hammered look to it, and is from the Art Deco period. There are nice designs around the front and back sides. CONDITION: Good antique condition with some minimal wear. Mostly wear on back. There are very very faint teeny dings around. But not too many. The cap unscrews and there is a dauber which is a little bent. The front of the perfume looks really great. No major issues overall, and very nice. It has some tarnish that could be polished carefully. The inside smells ... moresweet. Antique BLOWN OLIVE AMBER COLOGNE BOTTLE Perfume Barber Antique Paneled Cologne or Perfume Bottle An antique 13 paneled footed olive amber cologne or perfume bottle with open pontil on bottom. It stands 7-7/8” tall and the foot is 2-7/8” in diameter. Beside the pontil mark on bottom the number 24 has been etched and there are traces of an old paper label as you can see in the pictures below. The stopper was broken off and the bottom portion remains stuck in the bottle. Perhaps an expert in the glass field could remove this but I am leaving it as it is. There is some roughness along the edges of the paneled bottom but other than this the bottle is free of chips. Cracks, scratches or repairs and there is no sickness in the glass. Exceptionally well done hand-painted polo players and ponies; the details from the martingale and leg wraps on the ponies. To the players’ old style pith helmets, to the baggy top white jods are all great. The bottle looks to be hand blown. Has a small bubble in the shoulder, and is decorated with red paint and gilding over that. The stopper is ground, as is the inside neck of the bottle. No chips or breaks. A unique piece of Polo ephemera from almost 100 years ago.

Antique Green Opaline Glass Scent or Cologne Bottle FAB- Opal Opalino Bristol. This gorgeous. Mouth blown, antique scent bottle dates to the second half of the 19th Century, and is made of opaline glass, in a scarce green color. The stopper is original. It could have been made in France, or Bohemia. The glass is too thick and substantial to be English Bristol glass. It stands 8.75" tall(6.75" to the rim) and features simple and elegant enameling and gold gilding. It is in excellent condition for its age, with some wear and fading to the decoration, and a slice of glass off the inserting end of the stopper as seen in the last two pictures. There is a pontil scar on the bottom, and the number'5' painted on, which would have matched the same on the bottom of the stopper if it had not been sliced off. The stopper still seals, ... moreand sits firmly, and the damage is not seen when inserted. This is original 19th Century opaline glass, not a 20th century piece. There is no funky marriage between bottle and stopper. Even if it had no stopper it would be a cologne bottle- not a vase. I find no chips, cracks or other detractors. The front of the bottle is hand etched with the word"Cologne" The bottle has a series of 12 arched fluted panels around the lower edge that measure approx. 1-3/8" high X 5/8" The stopper's top is a round crystal ball shape. The overall bottle size is about 2-3/8" diameter x 6-1/4" tall(add 1-1/8" to include the stopper) The bottom is very hard to photograph but has a large impression. That looks frosted and off center. This bottle is in Excellent Original Condition with no issues at all. We guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the exceptional condition of this bottle. There are slight air bubbles throughout. The bottle measures 4" tall x 2" wide x 3/4" thick x 5/8" at the top diameter x 5/8" at the open pontil and weighs 55 grams. Antique Vaseline Glass Scent Bottle* A Great Piece! This listing is for a fabulous and rare antique apothecary jar. This bottle most likely dates from the mid to late 1800's and it is composed of yellow-green uranium glass which fluoresces under a black light. As you can see from the pictures. It has significant glow under black light. It has a thick rim of sterling silver. There are some hallmarks on the silver which are shown in photo#6, but they are so worn we can not make them out. The bottle with stopper measures 4 1/2" tall and 2" in diameter. It is in good condition for its age, but there are flea bite chips on many of the facets. The underside edge of the stopper also has some chips which we tried to show in the photos. There are no cracks or repairs. I looked everywhere and couldn't find another one like it. Very rare and hard to find if at all. No contents, but lightly scents the room with a wonderful gardenia smell. Smells as good as Marc Jacobs gardenia! Measures approx. 6 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide. Made by Para Labs. Inc. N.Y.C. Para Labs was founded in 1930. Hoyt's 10 Cent Cologne Antique glass bottle. Embossed and has a cork. Has"17" on the bottom. The seams up the sides of the bottle only go part way up and then stop. Measures about 3.25" tall. Measured to the top of the cork by about 1" diameter at the base. Condition: No chips or cracks noted. Has a whitish opaque sections inside. Especially in the neck.
