It was excavated after centuries of being buried in the earth and does have soil deposits remaining on it. These viles were used to package valuable oils. Perfumes and cosmetics in Roman times. The delicate glass is handblown, tinted a pale green with a very pretty irridescence. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips and measures about 4 1/2 inches tall and a little over 2 inches wide. This beautiful piece has a pressed glass insert with a flared edge which sits inside a gold-tone metal base which has a design of flowers and leaves. This striking piece measures about 6 3/4" tall and 3 1/2" across the base and is in very nice condition and the only possible flaws I can detect are some minor surface wear on the base. I can find no markers markings so I will have to leave that determination to the experts. This wonderful vintage bud vase would look equally as lovely in your Art Nouveau or Victorian home. ANTIQUE BRISTOL VASE OPAQUE GLASS HAND PAINTED UNUSUAL RARE LATE 1800'S ENGLAND
This wonderful vintage collectable was recently rescued from an Estate Sale. DESCRIPTION#517: Looking for a new forever home is this rescued lovely VICTORIAN BRISTOL GLASS VASE. The vase is hand painted with a floral motif and dotted and gold lines for elegant detail. The vase has a opaque very light pale greenish/yellowish cast to it. The hand painted designs are shades of pink. Some browns and yellow, a hint of periwinkle blue. Large leaves on front are a rusty reddish brown. Gold lines on bottom pedestal base with cobalt blue dots at the end of each line. Some gold and cobalt blue designs along the side of the vase also but some of this has rubbed off due to age. On each side there are remnants of this gold and cobalt detail. Back of vase has a smaller floral motif in periwinkle blue and rusty red brown. Very, very unusual opening in this ... morevase. It is funnel shapped, larger at mouth and narrowing down the neck of the vase, it then extends into an oval shape, and again narrows again before final flare at the round pedestal base. Very slight 1/8" jagged edge on rim of vase opening, one surface hair line scratch that does not go thru to the outer rim. It does extend a little to the inner rim. One little pepper dot in the glaze on the rim of the opening. Other than the surface gold gilt paint loss, it is in good shape, no other cracks or chips. This vase has a"glow in the dark" look to the glass, very slightly greenish/yellow. The owner's son did say it was from the late 1900's and his parents cherished it, they always referred to it as the Bristol glass vase. Bristol glass is from the victorian era and was made in England during the late 1800's. This is a beautiful example of Bristol Glass and anyone would be proud to add it to their collection. BACK STAMP: Nothing marked to identify it as Bristol glass but I was told this was and it has all the characteristics and quality of Bristol glass. I was told it was from the late 1800's. Antique/Vintage Crystal Glass Diamond Cut Vase With Fan Tulip Top Designs and Star Burst Pedestal. This beautiful piece has tiny bubbles thru out. The vase stands 12" tall by 3" wide across the top by 3"1/2 at base. In my opinion its had blown it has some flaws in the glass like the bubbles and a crack or manufactured flaw at the top. Normal 0 Vintage A. C. Co. English Vase Vase is in decent display shape. Has hairline crack and small chip on the lip on one side. Other side shows very well. Not a bad looking vase at all in my opinion(for its age) Has a blue flower motif on each side. I could not find out much on this vase. But then you more about it than I do. This exceptional late 1800s bud vase features a highly detailed electroplated cast metal base with naturalistic thistle leaves and blossoms supporting a mouth blown and wheel cut bud vase. The ensemble measures 7 3/8” tall overall with the bud vase measuring 6 ½” x 2 ½” overall and the heavy base 4” x 2 3/8” I can find no marks and the silver plate is quite good. You will note minor dents to the base as well as two professional solder repairs re-attaching the thistle leaves. The very tip(1/8” of the bud vase has been chipped off and polished. The glass displays well in the stand. But just a bit off kilter. There is no chips, and no hairline breaks on the vase. Applied rope that wraps around the horn does have a hairline that is secure. As pics will show. Antique Moser Czech Bohemian Cobalt Glass Vase Enamel Pink Hearts Applied Shells
Offered is a cobalt blue Czech Bohemian art glass vase with applied shells which I believe was made by Moser in the early 20th Century. The vase stands 12 1/2" high and is 5" across at the widest. The vase is handblown and is smooth on the outside but has 14 panels on the inside. It is highly decorated in enamel with pink hearts. White beads and filigree. There is a large necklace down the front which is oulined in white enamel beads with a gold ground and gold medallion. Gold arches and filigree on the top border. Down both sides are appliques of clear glass(11 on each side) fans or shells with gold painted centers. The vase has lost one of the glass shells as shown in the pics. No other chips or damage. Some loss of gold.

The Gilt base is stamped on the underside MED& Plated By Reed& Barton. There is minor Gilt loss on the Reed& Barton gilt base that shows in my pictures. The vase measures 2 7/8" square at the top and 3 1/2" at the bottom ans is 6" tall without the base. With it in the base it is 8 1/4" tall. There is no reserve.

You are bidding on a beautiful Art Nouveaux Green Glass Vase with lovely sterling silver overlay. It measures 9-3/4" tall and is 4" in diameter at its widest point. It is in excellent condition. It features solid silver bands on the top and base rims with the balance in heavy floral with serpentine vines all around. There is a"W" initial engraved on the front side. The sterling is not just paint. It is actual silver metal which is attached to the porcelain. It is marked(barely visible on the silver base) Sterling, and there is another number stamped on the bottom rim but the number is too hard for me to read. From a local Lancaster County Pennsylvania estate. A rare item. A most unusual piece of glass. And quite an early one, circa 1820. This was mold blown, the top was tooled into a scalloped shape along the wide rim. The handles were applied, beautiful'swan shapes' with folded over edges at the top and finished in a series of crimps ending in a wide loop at the base. Later pieces of antique glass with applied handles lack these exqusite details to the handle application. The upper portion of the body has a copper wheel engraving of a Swan on one side with the word CELERY above along with a curlique design at the top of the ... morescene and again at the bottom. The opposite side of the body is engraved with two long fronds. Truly a unique piece of glass. And quite beautiful. It is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks anywhere.
