This is a beautiful antique cut to clear amethyst glass Victorian style table lamp. Lamp has a very ornate floral motif surrounding its body. Glass is in very good condition with no cracks. Breaks or chips on it. I am unable to put an exact date on this lamp, but I do believe it is quite old due to the cord. Cord is slowly falling apart and will probably need to be replaced at some point. Shade is not included will leave that up to the buyer. The dimensions of the lamp with the harp are 26 1/2in Height. Old John Fenton had to be proud of his"radium finish" on this one! Measuring 5 1/2" in diameter this squatty little jewel sat right there by the lady's chair and served the purpose. Millersburg Glass Co. did not last long and there are not many of these around. Especially undamaged. No nicks, chips, or cindered hobs. Like most of these, there is a slight tilt of the top this occurs in manufacturing if the lehr is too hot. The iridescence and amethyst base color are outstanding. Up for sale is a really beautiful ANTIQUE WESTMORELAND AMETHYST CARNIVAL GLASS"LEAF SWIRL" COMPOTE with MARIGOLD HIGHLIGHTS. This piece is 5 1/8" high by 6 7/8" wide. It has a beautiful marigold/blue/green iridescence on the interior and has a lovely pale amethyst exterior. There are some great air bubbles as well. See pics! It is in perfect. Unused condition. Up for auction is this Unique Rare Antique Depression Two Handled Flower Trophy Vase in Black Amethyst/ Mount Pleasant Pattern This L E SMITH Glass Company depression flower vase is from the 1930's. And is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. The trophy shaped flower vase has silver florals applied to the front of the vase. The vase is shown in my reference book on Black Glass by M Toohey. This pretty depression handled vase measures 8 1/4" tall, 5 1/2" top diameter, and 4 1/4" base diameter. Very nice antique depression pattern vase for the Black Amethyst Collector. Please look at my other listings this week as I have several other lamp. Antiques, vintage and depression glass. IT MEASURES 12 1/4" ACROSS X 1 1/2" DEEP AND HAS NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. It was made by Bellaire Goblet Company circa 1889. THERE ARE MANY TRAPPED AIR BUBBLES AND ONE LINE WRINKLE IN THE GLASS FROM MANUFACTURING(PIC 3) THE IMAGE IS OF A STUBBORN MULE AND WAGON ON THE TRAIN TRACKS WITH THE TRAIN ROLLING IN! EAPG Tarentum Strigil or Strigel 8" Antique Glass Zipper Vase Turning Amethyst
Lovely very old vase and I thought someone might like to have it even with the little nick. From late 1800's or early 1900. Measures 8 1/8" tall. As I mentioned just one nick. the color should be clear crystal but this one has turned Amethyst with age dut to glass content.
