There is a lot of gold and shimmering color in the pulpet- really a beautiful design. Judging from other listings for this pattern. I can see that it must have been made in different sizes. This one measures approximately: 9-3/8" tall x 5-1/4" wide at the top and 3-1/8" at the base. I don't see any chips. Nicks etc- some manufacturing straw marks or bubbles. The top of the butter dish is in the same condition. Antique Hatpin Amethyst Purple Faceted Glass or Stone Heart GF Leaf Art Nouveau
Large and heavy antique hatpin with amethyst colored glass or stone. The faceted piece is a mystery. It came from an old antique shop that specialized in lapidary minerals and had an extensive collection of both rough and carved pieces. This hatpin reflects like a jewel but could be glass. It is set in an art nouveau gold filled setting with very fine details. The head piece is very heavy and large. Too heavy for the head pin which is detached and needs to be repaired. The good news is it is the original pin. Nice and straight and in great condition. The metal does not stick to a rare earth magnet. There is a very small chip on the tip that is not as noticable in person as it is in the photos. This flaw can be seen in the last three photos. Color of the metal is more golden that the photos depict.

The casket box is made of glass with brass over copper ormolu mounts. Four metal feet and rings on each side. The glass is a deep amethyst color with white enamel painted images featuring a large building on the edge of the water with mountains behind it. Floral garland accents the sides, and the edges of the glass are rounded. Overall the casket box measures approximately 3 5/8" in diameter and stands about 2 7/8" tall, and this is about as beautiful as they come in casket boxes! Item Condition: The overall condition of the casket box is excellent. It is very clean and there are no chips. Cracks, or repaired areas. The amethyst color ... moreis bold, and the enamel painted details show little to no loss or wear. The metal components could use a good polishing to really make them shine, but there is no damage. The hinges and clasp function as they should. There is standard rubbing and roughness on the bottom that you find on older glass. Has straight neck, with sheared lip and a rich purple jewel coloration in the glass. Decorated with enameled floral and dot patterns in white and periwinkle. The base has an open rough pontil mark. Dating it back well into the 1800's. It is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. There are minimal interior strawmarks and air bubbles in the glass from time of manufacture. Barber bottles were generally used with a milk glass or metal stopper which is missing in this bottle. Dandruff cures, baldness remedies in bulk commercial bottles and then empty the contents of the bulk bottle into these ornate personal colored barber bottles, like this one. Barbers filled their own bottles with hair tonic, hair oil, bay rum, shampoo, and rosewater. The bottles came in distintive colors/shapes so they barber could identify what was in each one of them. Most of them have gold trim around the top of the bottle. This gorgeous perfume bottle stands 10" tall. Is 4" wide and base measures 3 1/4" across. It is made is a lovely gold-brass tone ormolu filigree. The glass is beveled, and pink or light amethyst in color. There is a cherub in between the glass, coming out of a blossom. Everything about this bottle is perfect. Well kept and lovely, except that the dauber is gone. I can see the end of it still in ornate bottle top. That is the only condition to mention- the glass vial inside it perfect. It has a delicate white enamel design which I think was made to look like a"lace" band surrounding the bottle. There were elongated gold ovals painted above and below the white band but much of that has worn away with time& handling. The pump top twists up to extend and can be placed in the up or down position very easily. So many of these have been frozen or broken but this one is in fine condition. The internal metal syphon tube is also intact. The lid twists on and off easily as well so you could fill it. I have never put liquid in it. It could use a light cleaning& polish. The large Vauxhall Glass stones are very intricately faceted in a rose cut pattern. Each stones is individually hand prong set. Mounting is old gilt brass which has darkened from age as expected. The C-Clasp closure on both brooches works just as it should. Each brooch measures approximately 1 1/2" in diameter X 3/4" high. All stones are present. Original and in excellent condition. Measuring approximately 7-7/8" tall and 7" across at the widest part of the rim. This unsigned Pairpoint vase is a good larger size. It's an excellent form as well with it's turned down rim and pedestal foot. Wheel cut engraved all around with grapes, leaves and vines. There are some tiny bits of grit/frit or tiny bubbles within the glass from the glass making process. A few of these are bumps on the surface but not open. No open bubbles. I've pictured examples in the photos. A few tiny scratches on the top of the rim are shown in the last picture. Base has some wear and scratches from table surfaces over time. The polished pontil on the bottom is typical of Pairpoint as is the amethyst color, turned down rim form and grapes engraving. No chips, cracks or repairs. Very nice overall. U.S. only shipping. Included in this lot is a water pitcher and 6 tumblers. The colors found in these pieces are what makes this such a gorgeous set. You can find a variety of electric blue, lime green, rose red and violet and gold tones in each of these. Antique 14K Gold (not Gold-Filled) Mechanical Pencil w/ Amethyst Glass End
Antique 14K gold mechanical pencil with faceted glass amethyst end. The pencil has been fully tested in several spots by 2 different testers. So I guarantee it to be 14K. It's also illegibly marked on the tip, but I believe this says 14K. Usually with these pencils. The gold covers a steel shaft/base that makes up the inside of the pencil- I'm assuming that's the case with this one, too. It also bears what appears to be maker's mark on near the tip- looks like"ET& S" or possibly"FT& S" The amethyst glass was foiled and this has minor discoloration. Otherwise no problems. And there are no dents or splits to the gold. It measures 3 1/8" when closed and 3 7/8" when fully extended. Thanks to all my customers over the last 16+ years. This is a Northwood strawberry ruffled bowl. Measures 10 inches at the widest part and is about 3 inches high. Beautiful iridescence with lots of blues. Purples and green. Photos were taken outside in natural light. It has a basket weave back and the N underlined with circle around it. This comes straight out of my personal collection of 25 years. Codeine(Opium) 3.5" tall& diameter of 1.75" This is a beautiful antique amethyst medicine bottle. The lid is glass also and does have a rough edge to the bottom. The label is in very good condition with only 1 small area where the paper has been rubbed(hardly visible) The medicine was for coughs but with an overdose you were to call poison control. Antique Lavender Amethyst Glass Door Knob Set
This auction is for an Antique Lavender Glass Door Knob Set in very good condition. The two knobs are not a matched set.one is larger than the other. The eight-sided. Lavender knobs measure about 2 1/4 inches in diameter and show only light normal wear with no chips or cracks. There are a few very light scratches and one or two very minor nicks but no chips. The lavender glass knobs have very nice internal star or geometric patterns. One of the casings is brass and the other is nickel plate. The knobs are threaded but the connecting rod is not. The connecting rod is square and has been filed down to fit the knobs. The rod has three positions on each end for adjustment. This auction is for an Antique SALT CELLAR DIP in an AMETHYST/ LAVENDER Purple Glass. It does have a small chip on one end please check photos and very tiny little nicks along the inside rim. The beautiful amethyst or purple color of this glass is a result of the presence of manganese in the glass. Which was a decolorizer to turn the glass clear. Glass that contains manganese, when exposed to ultraviolet rays of the sun or other sources of UV rays, causes the glass to turn amethyst. Some amethyst bottles and glass are purpled from years of exposure to natural sunlight. We estimate it to have been from the 1870 to 1910 era. It measures 2 inches wide. Stands 1 inch tall on little tiny feet and is about 1-1/2 inches across. Lot or Set of 6 Antique VTG Amethyst Czech Glass Crystal Chandelier Sconce Lamp Prism Drops* These are a set of SIX(6) lovely vintage or antique crystal or glass prism drops in the beautiful and highly desirable DEEP AMETHYST(or Purple) color. They each measure approx 3.25" Long but as they are likely hand made in the wonderful old antique/ vintage craftsmanship method. They do have some very slight variation to them. These would be wonderful for restoring or embellishing a chandelier. Sconce, lamp or girandole, or great for a variety of other jewelry, craft& other creative uses. Would also be pretty hanging in the window as sun catchers! In overall nice shape- but may have very minor nicks/ scuffs/ fleabites on their surface from age as could be expected. The wires are patina'd and darkened from age. It was hard to get good ... morephotos of their color so we tried a variety of light source variations for your viewing needs. There is no mark on the pin. Beautiful orange thistle is set on the silver ball. The rod is steel. There is wear on the thistle as shown on picture#5. The pin is 8 3/4" inches long.
