They are heavy and solid for their size which is about 6 1/2" tall. And about 2 1/4" diameter across the bases. They are hand cut, faceted, beveled, and polished. They date to the 19th century and are hand enameled and gilt also.I see one chip to the top rim of one vase, and a tiny fleck to the base of the other.both are as photographed. Amethyst Glass Antique Bottle with Porcelain Stopper
Lovely pale lavender glass bottle. 8" tall. The porcelain stopper says"Citrate of Magnesia. Ther is a simple embossed circle on the front, probably for a label. There are two side seams. The bottom says"W T CO USA" with an 8 in the center. Ther is a slight chip on the stopper which can be seen in the photos. There are some bubbles in the glass, but no cracks or chips in the glass. I have not cleaned the interior which has some dry white residue on the bottom.

This is a black amethyst Bear Pomade Jar made by sandwich glass about 1880(Colors rate in rarity[from rarest to most common] Blue. White, Clambroth and Black Amethyst) The bear stands 3.75 inches tall. It is a muzzled bear jar usually thought of as a pomade jar. The bear is wearing a muzzle and is sticking his tongue out. These bears always have damage and this one is no exception. The rim around the body has a pretty big chip missing from its back. There are pinpoint nicks around the rim of the head and body. There is also a cluster of pinpoint nicks on one of the ears(shown in photo) There are no identification marks on the base. Please be sure to look through all 12 photos. Five (5) Antique Glass Punch Cups Light Amethyst Pineapple Pattern
These are Five(5) EAPG Glass Punch Cups that show Light Amethyst coloring. These are from our family estate. The punch bowl is long gone. The Pattern has what appears to be a stylized Pineapple with a fan top, but there are also abstract designs in the glass, so I do not know the name of this pattern. Each cup measures 2 1/8" high x 2 3/4" in diameter(not including the handle) The cups are in Very Good Condition. Only one cup has a tiny flea bite on the rim which does not show up in the photos because it is too small, otherwise there are no chips or cracks in the cups. They are a lovely pale amethyst color from the manganese in the glass and sun exposure. The Purple glass occurs with the element manganese in it which will turn the glass purple in UV light. G lass manufacturers started using manganese in the 1860s. But mostly stopped ... moreby 1915 when they started using selenium.

A beautiful example of cut to clear glass. The glass is also cut to show details in the flowers and leaves, that add another dimension to the vase. This unsigned Czechoslovakian bracelet is a BEAUTY! I have had this bracelet for many years. But time to let it go as I am continuing to downsize. Looking at the pictures you can see that this bracelet features three main oval panels set with large open back amethyst glass stones. The beautiful gilded brass has stunning filigree work from the Art Nouveau era. Dainty and feminine! Approx. 8 inches from end to end and the three(3) main panels are 1" wide. The spring closure is in perfectly working order. The only flaw is that the two tiny brass rings that holds the small square panel the one of the oval panels are missing! There are normal surface scratching. But is very minimal. One stone has a small flee bite. Have to take the age into consideration here as it is most likely over 100 years old. This beautiful piece of Fenton glass has vibrant iridescence. The Coin Dot bowl has an amethyst base glass color. It measures approximately 9" in diameter. There are no chips. Cracks, or other flaws that we found. The only scratches are very fine and are located on the footed bottom, indicating its age. It was made in the early 1900's. Up for sale is a gorgeous antique Northwood carnival ruffled and footed bowl in the Star of David& Bow s pattern. This amethyst glass bowl has wo nderful iridescence as you can see in the photos. Measuring approximately 7.5" in diameter and 3.5" tall. The bowl has no chips or cracks. There are a couple o f very faint scratches to the iridescen ce from handling over the years as well as two small spots where the iridescence is worn off(see last photo) but neither of these are very notic eable and do not detract from this fantastic piece of old carnival. Height is 6 1/4" Width is 2 1/4" depth is 1 1/18" The jar has a light amethyst tint naturally from years is the sun called SCA"sun colored amethyst" or"sun-purpling" due to the manganese in the glass. Much of the“clear” or“off-clear” glass made during the 1880s-1920s contains the element Manganese. Which was actually added to the glass“batch” as a decolorizing agent. The manganese helped to“mask” or“neutralize” the effects of iron which typically causes some shade of light green, blue-green or aqua color in glass. Antique Rare Early Dark Amethyst glass oil lamp
Welcome! For Your Consideration A nice early antique dark amethyst oil lamp in good condition. Stands 10 3/8"tall x 5"across base x about the same at top. This lamp is hand blown in two pieces. The top oil reservoir hand blown and applied to the bottom and is clean inside. Any imperfections that I could find are in the glass. This is a early hand blown glass and most likely the imperfections are from the flint used in the glass. The pontil is broke off most likely so the lamp would sit level. We do not have the wick assembly- adjustment or the chimney. No cracks or chips Starting for least amount. This lamp is rare and hard to find. Would be great completed. This item is used and is over one hundred years old and may show normal wear. Considering this its still in good condition. This is a pretty little antique Art nouveau or Victorian. Floral filigree necklace. Chain looks to be brass and the pendant is brass gilt. It measures 15" long and the center pendant is 1 3/4" The larger amethyst glass stones are 8mm and it is accented with tiny seed turquoise stones. The clasp is a push in box style shaped like a flower with a purple stone in the center. This is in good wearable condition though there is some wear on the back and a couple spots where some oxidation can be found. Needs a good detailed cleaning. Very lovely piece for the time period and the stones really sparkle.
