This is an ongoing trend and these individuals seem to complain if silver prices go down between the day they buy and the day they receive. When one melts silver one can lose as much as 5% of the weight in the smelting process and I can not be held responsible for weight lost after melting. I do not generally melt anything that is well made as it makes little sense to me. So any potential loss should be considered before purchasing my items. Here is a beautiful lot of ten antique stick. Tie, or lapel pins in purple amethyst glass. There is a mix of brass, gold, and silvertones. They range from 2" to 3" long. A few of the pin stems are slightly bowed. The pin to the far left has some scratches to top of stone and the circular pin in center back has some roughness to top of stone. A couple of the smaller pins in the front right may be gold filled or plated. Light tarnish. We ship international and combine.

It has an excellent iridescence and the color is amethyst. It belonged to my mother and was on display in her cabinet for many years. It measures 3 3/4" tall x 9" across at the widest point and has a collar base that measures 3 3/4" in diameter. I think that it is called a collar base but am not sure. I realize that my asking price is probably too high but I need some help identifying this glass and am taking a chance on it. I also hope that I haven't made a mistake and listed a one of a kind piece of glass that would make my ship come in if I had the correct price on it! I can't find out the maker name or the pattern so I am just going to do my best to ... moredescribe it to you. If any of you can give me more information about it. I would appreciate it very much. There are a lot of diamonds on this piece and some are inside the lattice work. Some of them look like they could represent pineapples. I think that there is a star medallion on the bottom but when I stare at it. The whole thing turns into a large sunflower. It also looks like a pinwheel on the bottom. There are columns of short straight lines running up in a curved pattern on each side beside the oval shaped parts with diamonds inside. There is a large diamond shape that is made up of smaller diamonds and it is sitting on top of the smaller diamond shape that also has diamond inside it. There are 8 very deep ruffles and the glass is heavy. The colors are gorgeous.gold, green, blue, yellow, purple and pink. That's the best way that I can describe it so have taken many pictures for you to enlarge to judge for yourself. If I have misrepresented the piece in any way, please let me know so that I can correct it. The only marks that I could see are some tiny bubbles. A few small straw marks and the mold marks that were from manufacturing. There are no chips, nicks, scratches,

Each one is adorned with white. Orange and gold flowers. They did, at one time, have a gold band around the rim also but the majority of this has worn away. Exquisite dark amethyst Bohemian vase with gilt"Sovereign" cameo frieze band decorated in the"Amazon Warrior" motif designed by Leo Moser in 1914. Beautiful appearance, needle etched signed on a bottom‘Moser’ Karlsbad. Excellent condition, measures 8” tall, 3 ½” widest part, 2 ½” diameter of the opening. The Moser glass factory was named after Ludwig Moser(1833-1916) and established in Karlsbad(now Karlovy Vary) in North East Bohemia in 1857. Moser glass first became famous for the quality of engraved decoration. He employed brilliant engravers including Edward and Johann Hoffman. The engravers followed long established Bohemian design themes of hunts. Stags and wooded landscapes, which appealed to the indigenous population of Bohemia. Moser was also influenced by European art movements and produced designs inspired ... moreby European Baroque works, Japanese ceramics and Islamic goldsmiths. During this period Moser was solely concerned with the decoration of glass, the glass blanks being bought in from other manufactories, such as Meyr’s Neffe and Kralik. Moser realised quite early on that a recognised‘trademark’ other than a signature would be of tremendous importance to customers who wanted to show off their Moser glass in a showy yet discrete manner. He achieved this by using applied glass acorns; polychrome enamelled oak leaves. Welcome to my auction! This listing is for an antique Dugan Carnival Glass footed Bon Bon dish in an electric amethyst/ purple with the"Question Mark" pattern. This dish has a stunning metallic iridescence to it. And under various lighting appears deep purple, silver, gold and red. It has two handles, and the molded question mark pattern in the center of the bowl. The dish measures 7" from handle to handle end, and 3 1/2" tall. It is free of chips, cracks, fractures, repairs and any visible damage that I can see or feel. It looks to be in excellent condition for a piece from the early 1900s, with minimal age wear present. It does have the common straw marks, bubbles on base, shear marks and rough seams(handles) that are normal with Carnival Glass of this age and Carnival Glass in general. Gorgeous Victorian era blown glass vase. It is in the Jack in the Pulpit flower shape. Made of a translucent pink tinted glass with amethyst edges. Gold pinchbeck and Amethyst paste brooch, that is from the Victorian era. This piece is bright with a golden patina but does not test positive for gold content. This piece is substantial weighing 41 grams and measuring 2 7/8" wide at its widest point and is just shy of 1/2" thick at its thickest point. The brooch has its original pinback that works securely. This piece is unique for its large size. Its ornate design, and the fact that the center of the brooch swivels. If the pinback is open, the center can turn 360 degrees fluidly, and if it is closed it can just pivot a bit back and forth. The design of the brooch is striking with lots of raised and recessed details that give the piece a lot ... moreof texture and visual interest. The center of the brooch is accented with deep purple paste stones, the largest in the center is 1/2" in length, and they are open at the back and faceted on both sides so there is a lot of depth in color and refraction. There are no chips or surface wear to the paste- they are all very fresh looking with a high sheen. There is one section at the side of the brooch that has a panel that has been replaced, it is not original and it is a bit flatter with a different design than the other panels, but the repair was done well and is noticeable mainly on close inspection. The brooch has a very full and solid shape without any dents or dings and has a very bright and golden patina. Antique Victorian Gold GF Filled Amethyst Glass 1" Wide Bracelet This auction is for golden and colorful. Gold filled and amethyst bracelet, that is from the late Victorian era. This bracelet has a maker mark. Tests positive for 10k gold filled, and is a vibrant yellow gold. The bracelet is inset at the center with an amethyst stone, you can see lots of marks inside, that look like natural fissures but I can't confirm that the stone is natural Amethyst or glass. The bracelet has an inside circumference of 7" it is 1 1/8" wide at its widest point in front, and it is 1/4" in back. The bracelet opens smoothly and closes securely with its original push clasp. The front of the bracelet has a striking openwork design and the amethyst is 7/8" x 3/8" at its widest points. The amethyst is open at the back and is faceted ... moreon both sides so it has a lot of depth in color and sparkle. There is a tiny bit of wear to the surface but it is noticeable only upon close inspection. There are no dents to the shape of the bracelet- it is quite full and intact without any signs of solder or repair. There were a couple of spots of surface wear in the photos that I noticed but they polished out nicely. The bracelet has a very bright and golden patina with very little surface wear. Overall this is a golden and colorful, gold filled and amethyst bracelet, that is from the late Victorian era and is in Excellent condition. Here we have one Sterling Silver and Amethyst glass shaker. Eggplant or plumb shape. Shaker is 3 3/8 inches tall and 2 3/8 inches wide. Sterling removable lid with 15 holes and a stem and two hallmarks. A Large Antique Victorian Black/Amethyst Glass Cat-c1880s.
This charming and rare Antique Victorian Glass Cat dates to around 1880 or thereabouts. I have sold miniature Victorian Cats similar to this before. But I have never seen this example. The Cat appears to be black. But when held to the light it looks more of an amethyst colour. It stands approximately 4 inches high and weighs around 178 grams. It is in lovely vintage condition overall. Although there are some signs of wear that are commensurate with age and use. This basically consists of chips to the ear tips. A shallow chip to the bottom edge and fleabite chips to the bottom edge. However. I find its condition very acceptable considering its age, and It will make a fine addition to any similar collection.
