19th Century Antique American Free Blown Red Amber Glass Witch Gazing Float Ball
This listing is for an antique freeblown glass witch ball. It measures approximately 4" It is a reddish amber color. There are some original interior surface areas of bubbly roughness at the top and bottom(they are miniscule surface bubbles. And the areas appear a whitish color in the right light) The pontil is sealed with a wafer which has sharp fragments remaining from the punty rod. It is in excellent condition with no damage. The base is 4 1/8" in diameter. The lamp works but will need oil because I dump oil and remove saturated wicks from oil lamps. Exquisite Pair of Antique Silver and Amber Swirl Glass Decanters/Claret Jugs
Pair of Antique Silver and Glass Decanters. For auction are a pair of beautiful silver and glass decanters that look like they are probably French. The amber glass bottoms have a delicate swirl that moves in a clockwise pattern from the top to the bottom. The silver top has a hinged cover and intricately detailed collar with flowers and cross-hatched pattern with a cartouche on the front of the spout. The handle has a rope pattern. Both decanters are in very good condition with no chips. Cracks or breaks. They measure about 9 ½” tall to the top of the finial and about 7” wide(including the handle) It measures about 5” deep. I could find no marking on either piece and don’t know the composition of the silver. I also did not polish it so it retains its original patina. Here's an old antique amber colored glass juicer. One of many that I collected over the years. I had it hung in a display in my kitchen. It does have some condition issues. Which are just a few tiny little chips. The last picture points out the major chip. Please view pictures carefully. The actual reamer part of the juicer where you push the fruit down onto. Is quite worn as well, from use. It also has some little chips along those ridges as well. Measurements: 3& 1/2 inches tall 6 inches across. 8 inches across from the tip of the spout to the far edge of the handle. It comes from a smokefree home. This is a beautiful old spa glass. Approximately 4 3/8" tall. 2 5/8" wide at the top. Heavy crystal. Footed shape, thick walls. Solid eight-lobed glass foot. Amber cut-to-clear. Bears four amber colored circles on the side, three of which are decorated with etched scenes of Berlin, Germany. One of them shows the Royal Palace(K. Palais in Berlin" the second the Catholic Church(Kath. Kirche" and the third shows the suburb of"Pichelsberg" No manufacturer's marks. Presumably made in Bohemia mid to late 19th century, most likely before 1871. In excellent condition. No cracks. The underside shows a small chip near the edge(visible in the picture below at the 2 o'clock position) and a tiny fleabite near it as well as a few very minor scratches from regular use. This listing is for five pieces of antique rib molded blown glass. The footed cruet has 12 swirled ribs. 7 pulled feet, a cleanly snapped- very sharp pontil, a folded in(and mostly melded) top rim, and stands(crookedly) 5.5" tall. The dark amber pitcher stands 5" tall, has a hollow handle, 16 swirled ribs, a folded in top rim, and sharp pontil. The flask is spherical. It measures 4.5" tall, has 16 vertical ribs, and a kick-up base with a sharp pontil. The small two-handled vase has 18 vertical ribs, a sharp pontil, a folded in rim, and stands 3.3" tall. The small pitcherhas 10 vertical ribs, a folded in rim, and a sharp pontil with a 1" crack through(from the snap-off) Other than the pontil crack, all pieces are in excellent condition. In doing research I discovered Bohemian glass- this might be this. There is a frosted etched scene of Pheasants in the Forest. There are lots of Great details. The color of the latter is a bit difficult to describe: it is orange/light brown and is similar to the color of amber. The lever-back clasp is also decorated with one clear glass rhinestone. All rhinestones are still very shiny despite their age. These earrings are in good vintage condition. With only traces of oxidation to the back(see pictures below) and normal signs of wear& age. There are no missing or chipped stones. These earrings were part of the stock of an old Czech glass and costume jewellery factory and have never been used. Yet. Antique Cased Glass Decanter~White Overlay Cut To Gold/Amber Bohemian Glass~17"
Up for auction is an antique Bohemian Cased White cut to Yellow Glass Floral Decanter. This is a gorgeous antique cased glass decanter with white overlay glass cut to yellow/gold bohemian glass. The white glass has floral accents along white gold trim and designs. The decanter is large measuring 17” tall with the stopper and 13” without it. The base measures 4 ½” in diameter at the bottom and tapers going upward to 2 ½” where to stopper goes. The decanter has a couple of minor flaws with a chip in the lid where the stopper inserts and a couple of tiny flea bites/dinks in the white glass. All in all. The decanter is in good shape for its age and is a beautiful piece of art. Please view all the pictures for more details on the design and condition of the decanter.
