Nicely hollowed. ... moreIt is about 2 1/4 inches tall including the lid. It weighs about 39 grams. 19th Century Qing Dynasty. Good condition as shown. Mrs. Mary Morrison. Was a collector, former museum curator and lecturer on Asian art at the University of British Columbia, Canada. She also played an important role in creating the Canadian Society for Asian Arts which got its start in Vancouver in 1968. Over her lifetime, she collected a fabulous collection of Chinese antiques, mostly snuff bottles, and porcelain. Most of her pieces were collected between the 1940's- 70's in England and North America. We were lucky enough to purchase some of the nicer pieces which we are offering on ebay. All the items are completely authentic. Authenticated by Ms. Morrison, and also vetted by ourselves. The last picture shows other pieces we are listing today from the same collection. Rates are determined by EBay based on Canadapost charges calculated by the package dimensions and weight. We will only ship by tracked mail. We combine items whenever possible. In many cases it will cost very little more to add additional items to the same package. Items can be returned if not as described. African Cote d'Ivoire necklace poss. amber glass trade beads heishi antique ster
Fabulous necklace from Ivory Coast Africa containing amber or resin beads. 6 African glass trade beads, and graduated hieshi-type disc beads of woody material that has been polished. Silver cones[most likely coin grade] and hook/eye closure; strung on thread or string. Purchased by my parents on a trip to Ivory Coast in early 1970's. This necklace was at that time considered old but was most likely made after the amber-color beads were being used in the 1950's. The amber-color beads were sold as copal amber. However there is a chance they are made of phenolic resin which was popularly used in the early half of the 20th C. as a substitute for amber. Either way these are precious collectibles as is this necklace! Weight of total necklace is 4 ounces. Necklace is 24.5" long. Largest amber bead measures 1.5" diameter. Antique Double Arm Candelabra We are offering a beautiful candelabra with prisms in various shades of amber and amethyst. Very unique and very pretty. It has two arms each containing 12 prisms. The light sits in the center of each and looks like a candle with a swirled amber light bulb(both bulbs included) The center of the lamp has eight longer teardrop prisms and a center sphere with a rosette. Since this is such an old lamp. You may find a couple of fleabites on the prisms which is consistent with age. The lamp is either bronze or brass, I'm not sure. It is in excellent working condition with age appropriate wear. The switch is on the back of the base as shown in photo#10. The cord appears to be original and has been taped, please see photo#11. The top is an applied top and its opening is about 1" wide. You can see bubbles in the glass- the base also shows some wear that can be seen in the photos. No chips or cracks that I can notice. I do see what may be a minor scratch on the front. But could also have been there. I would say all other imperfections are natural ones, including a number of marks/lines around the mouth/top. This rare Antique Honey Amber coloured Glass Eye Bath dates I believe to around 1900 or thereabouts. The Eyebath stands approximately 1.75 inches high and measures around 1.75x1.25 inches across the top. I have not seen this colour before. And so consider it to be worthy of any collection. The Eyebath is free from chips(other than fleabites) or cracks and any imperfections were present during the production process. It weighs approximately 62 grams.

A very pretty little antique Scottish thistle and wish bone brooch in sterling silver. C.1900 or a little earlier in date. The brooch is approx. 25mm long, marked'sterling' on the back and weight is approx. 1.83g. It is in the form of a wishbone with the thistle applied across the top, nicely detailed, and set with a little amber glass stone for the flower. Typical traditional Scottish! The goblet looks to be rather old and Bohemian in origin. But you all know the origin and approximate age better than I do. I don’t think I am wrong by calling this cut glass. The color is a golden amber of sort. The goblet is in great condition with no condition concerns. I don't see any scratches or wear on this goblet at all! There are no cracks. And there are no chips. Golden amber 4 place snack tray serving set.4 trays& 4 cups in the Button and Daisy pattern by Indiana Glass Co. Each tray is in the shape of a triangle with the button& daisy pattern embossed on bottom side and on the top has a raised circular ridge to hold cup in place. This vintage set was made from the 1950's to the 1960's and is in excellent clean/unused condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. You are viewing a lot of 3 old vintage light amber colored bowls. I'm not sure if these are fenton or carnival glass. Some of these May have some minor chipping but are in pretty decent condition considering their age. Each bowl measures about 5 1/2 inches on top and almost 2 inches high and the bottom part that sits flat is 2 1/2 inches. Please look at the pictures as they are also part of the description. Antique amber candlestick holders. Mushroom top style. These may be from Paden City Glass since they produced an identical shaped one. These are plain with no etching. No chips or cracks. There is some light scratching in on the top best seen when held up to the sunlight. Measures approximately 5" in diameter and 1-1/2" tall. They are very pretty in the sunlight as my pictures show.
