Antique Hand Blown Glass Fishing Float Balls ~ Set of 3~ Blue-Amber & Blue/Green
For your consideration is this set of 3 Handblown glass fish float balls. The blue/green one measures approx. 10 inches circumference- The blue 9 1/2 inches and the small amber colored one 7 inches. The amber ball is not a perfect sphere. There is a dimple on one side(kind of like a dent) this must have happened when the actual glass blowing was in process. I have no knowledge of these glass balls so please look carefully at pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding. Thank you!

Antique Cast Iron Owl Andirons Amber Glowing Glass Eye Fireplace
Antique owl cast iron andirons with amber glass eyes. Condition as shown on pictures- some scratches and pitting to the glass eyes. One of the andirons has a new shiny screw connecting its owl to the horizontal crosspiece that supports the logs(it is loose and causes the owl to lean forward. I believe that it needs a better screw- that should be an easy fix. The glass eyes catch the light from fire and twinkle ever so magically. Each owl is approx. 13 inches tall.

This item is a beautiful 1920's amber depression glass. Large ribbed, Federal refrigerator dish with original lid. It's in awesome condition, and truly looks like new. It measures 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches square and is 3" high with the lid on. It's a lovely old thing to look at and quite heavy, weighing 4.7 oz. when the lid is in place. Antique Cameo Glass Vase Pair (Galle? Marked W) Amber w Dark Green & Red Oak
Glorious cameo glass! A matched pair of vases(7.25"Hx5"W) So difficult to come by, the frosted amber orange ground is ornamented with oak leaves and acorns in satin shades of warm red brown and glowing light to deep greens. The pedestal base- while quite dark. Almost black- is actually the deepest green, the edge softening to the lightest green as it blends into the amber body. The neck is an applied band of the russet red- with a surprising tint of green as it meets the neck! The textured bottom of each base reveals a polished down pontil mark; while the pieces are unsigned, the design resembles pieces by Galle, and what appears to be a"W" mark is polished into the surface of the bottom. Antique Amber Glass Paine's Celery Compound Long Neck Bottle 9 3/4" H w/Labels
Presented for auction is an antique amber long neck glass medicine/cure bottle that has raised embossed lettering that reads"PAINE'S CELERY COMPOUND" It has bubbles in it. Which is indicative of its late 1800's to early 1900's date. It has the remmant of a paper label on one side that reads"White Front Drug Store" with the partial address of No. 5 Canal St. The label also appears to have a handwritten name on a line that I am unable to read. The other label remmant has the name of what is most likely the doctor"H. E. Shin, A.M.A" which probably stands for American Medical Association. The bottle stands 9 3/4" high and it is heavy weighing 1 lb. 4 ozs. It has some dried residue inside that I have not tried to remove. This is truly a great old vintage bottle! Happy Bidding! Rare Old Silver Glass and Amber Chatelaine Style Tupo Manta or Shawl Pin Bolivia early Late 1800’s- Early 1900’s Item Description: Measurement: Overall Length 5 ½” inches(14 cm) Length of Tupo 3”+ inches(7.6 cm) Width 2 ½” inches(6.4 cm) Charms ¾” 1” inch(1.9-2.5 cm) An early 20th century silver tupo/ manta or clothing pin from Bolivia. This is a very ornate and well detailed piece. It has lost its straight pin but I have the loop that it would have attached to(see reference photo of similar pin) You can ascertain the correct location by the tack spots on the back. When I came across this antique piece in the little shop in Cusco quite a number of years ago. I was under the impression that it has hung on the front door of the home. But something like this is too fine for that use. After researching the piece when I got back ... moreI realized what its intended use was. The indigenous women and girls of the Andes in Ecuador. Bolivia and Peru fasten their shawls with beautiful clasps called tupos. Or topos. The tupo usually identifies the wearer's area of residence and is an important part of cultural significance for indigenous Andean women and girls. This is actually an example of how cultures combine different motifs…after further study this particular manta, tupo is fashioned after a Chatelaine which the mistress of the household wore and contained necessary keys and scissors etc objects for daily use and were also presented to brides by their intended husbands. When I looked at the piece closely I was fascinated by the amber Cabochon which is above the monkey figure because it looks like something may be in it. None of this was apparent in the dim light of the shop just the Andean highland motifs of each“charm” the lock the key the pitcher. They were compelling enough. Here for your consideration we have a group of four(4) antique bottle stoppers from the late 1800s. They are an assortment of colors including teal. Amber, aqua and clear. These were hand dug and are in good to very good condition. They will be perfect for decorative purposes in your bottle collection. The teal stopper came from a PRESTON'S bottle, teal. It measures 3/4 at the small end of the taper and increases to approx. 13/16 at the widest part of the taper. The amber and clear stoppers would work in a 1/2" wide mouth. The aqua is for a 5/8" mouth. They all have some scratching and a couple have chipping that would be hidden in the neck of your bottle. The tops are in EXCELLENT condition on all four. The stopper is also handblown with a air bubble inside as seen in pictures with a small ruff edge. The enamel is leaves across the front and a dot on the top of the stopper with little wear. The bottle measures approx 9 1/2 inches tall with the stopper and 2 1/2 inches across the bottom. The bottom also has a pontil with the number 28 etched on the center as seen in pictures. EARLY 1800"S. THIS WAS ORIGINALLY A SAILOR'S SALT STORAGE CONTAINER. WHEN THE SAILORS WENT OUT TO SEA. THEY TOOK THEIR SALT STORED IN THESE GLASS CONTAINERS TO KEEP IT DRY. THEY MADE A HOLE IN ONE END TO OPEN IT, AND WHEN THE SALT WAS GONE, THE SAILORS WOULD PAINT THEM UP AND BRING THEM HOME TO THEIR FAMILY OR SWEETHEART. SOME USED FOR ROLLING PIN. MAY HAVE USED CORK STOPPER TO TAKE ICE WATER FOR A CHILLED ROLLER. BUT ORIGINALLY FOR SALT CELLAR FOR HOLDING SALT WHEN IT WAS HIGHLY TAXED. IN ENGLAND AND FRANCE MADE NEAR PORTS, WHERE THEY WERE OFTEN GIVEN AS"LOVE TOKENS" BY DEPARTING MARINERS. MANY HELD SALT AND WERE HUNG BY THE FIRE SO THAT THE SALT KEPT DRY. Guaranteed to be original and as described- Antique 19th century 1850's hand blown chestnut flask bottle with pontil scar. The bottle was acquired from a onsite estate auction about a year ago. The bottle has wonderful wear to the base and the color is a deep golden amber. The applied handle was wonderfully crafted in place. This variation in color is MUCH more rare than just the regular amber. SIZE: 9 inches high by 6 wide/across by 3 1/4 thick.CONDITION: Fine condition, th ere are no chips.Cracks or repairs. The lids are in as found condition, they show lots of wear, the mustard pickle lid top is loose. This is an unusual set, the stand has small pegs that the bottles fit into, see photos. The set is in good condition but used, it is 100+ years old. The edges of the base bottles have some small chipping but nothing big or bad. I have shown the damage in photos below. Many of the pins are made of glass and hand blown. There's some that have swirl design and there's different colors with amber. Ice blue, lavender, white, black and more colors. Can you imagine making small pins like this and blowing glass for the ends? This is incredible. A life time collection of these early pins. You will not find another like this in a long time I am sure. The larger size pins are about two inch. I think they are a collection gathered through the years. This collection has to be one of the most fascinatinig and interesting finds I have come across in all my years of collecting. I believe that these are very old medicine or pharmacy medicine bottles. There are 8 all together. The person I purchased these from couldn't provide any history on the pieces. Not even sure how old they are but I am guessing that have quite of bit of aging to them. If anyone would like to share their knowledge on these I would be happy to add to listing. First is amber colored and measures almost 5" including eyedropper. a T and what looks to be SS in a circle and then a 1. Second is amber colored and measures about 4" including eyedropper a 17 and what looks to be either an I or 1 in a circle and then a 7. Third is amber colored and measures about 4" including eyedropper a 18 and what looks to ... morebe either an I or 1 in a circle and then 11. Fourth is amber colored and measures about 4" including eyedropper a SS in a circle and a 5. Fifth is amber colored and measures about 3" and has black cap a 15 then what looks to be ML. Sixth is amber colored and measures about 3" and has black cap a15 then what looks to be ML. Seventh is cobalt blue and has a white cap measures about 3" has what looks to be 73 or 75 15 ml and 14 below that. Last is cobalt blue and has no cap but a plastic insert and says the same thing on bottom as the 7th one. These bottles are being presented exactly as I purchased them. Wish I could provide additional information but didnt really know how to go about researching them because my curiousty was pretty high to find some history out on these pieces. Am starting the auction at what I believe to be a fair price for these interesting and unusual pieces. Guess I will find out if anyone bids. It is 8" high, wide mouth with a ground glass shank stopper& with indenture on front for the label. Made in the popular amber glass for it's light protecting qualities. The wide mouth is for spooning contents out. It was found at a New Jersey demolition site where my brother's construction company was tearing down an abandoned building. Antique Amber Glass Rooster/Chicken Liquor Bottle/Decanter-c. 1890's-FREE SHIP
Hello& Welcome, Here's a beautiful. Old amber colored bottle/decanter in the shape of a Rooster getting ready to crow that I imagine had liquor in it at one time. This old bottle was made between 1880& 1890. It's in great condition for its age but it does have a few imperfections which are due to the mold the glass was blown into. They look like scratches/hairline cracks but they're not, it will hold your favorite beverage as it does not leak. This was how the glass came out of the mold. The body was blown into a mold and then the lip was applied afterwards. You may be able to see the seam line that end about 1/2" from the top. This is where the lip was applied to the body. This is a great bottle for being 123+ years old. The detail on this rooster are fantastic, which I hope show adequately in the photo's.
