Two Beautiful Pieces Of Carnival Glass Lovely! The history and age of these pieces is unknown to me but they were packed away for many years. The bowl or serving dish on the left is an incredible vibrant array of colors. Floral and vines with leaves design on the glass. Has three legs underneath. About 2 1/2 inches high. About 8 inches across. Good condition with some light scratches on the inside of the bowl- a little of which is on a bit of the iridescent color of the bowl. Not much. The second piece(the bowl on the right) is a beautiful blend of blue and purple colors. It has some light wear but no chips I see on it. About 7 inches high. About 8 inches across. This is hand blown art glass with a slightly rough pontil. They measures 6 3/4" tall. 4 1/8" diameter at the mouth and 3 1/4" at the base. Antique Art Nouveau Stained Glass Window Pink Blue Amber Great Size
For auction is a beautiful antique art nouveau stained glass window that is ready for display. The first two pictures show it with natural light shining through the pink. Blue and amber object and the opaque field glass. It is mounted in its original window frame. The natural side(inside) has been stripped of paint but whoever did it should have spent a little more time on it. The painted side(outside) shows that the window needs to be reglazed- a simple task. If you plan to remove the window from this frame, most of your work is already done as there is not much more glazing that needs to be removed. There is some missing wood on one side of the frame(from rough removal from the house in which it was located) but this damage is minor and cannot be seen from the front. Description This antique circa 1870-90's amber glass Madeira carafe jug/ pitcher. Is hand blown with wrythen mould blown optical vertical ribs to the inside and with an applied loop handle and spreading foot. It has a finely gilded and enamelled'Madeira' emblazoned across the front in medieval Gothic Revival style and is gilded to the rim. It has an old bronze coloured metal ball stopper with cork bung, which may not be original but has been with the piece for a long time. The carafe has a ground and polished pontil mark to the base and is in good condition with no chips. Cracks, damage or repair. Made for a few years just prior to WWII. These tiny pieces were originally included as prizes in American Cracker Jacks and overseas in traditional English style paper crackers. This particular charm is quite rare. A little French bulldog dog, its head facing sideways, with its original tiny rhinestone eyes- one white, one purple! and its tiny copper collar with white glass dangle. There are one or two tiny factory ... moredone fleabites, as are common to these charms, but no other post-production flaws that we see. This is a very luminous glass. It is leaded crystal and has a nice ring to it, hand blown. This has a sheared top edge, so it was cut, has just a minor roughness to the top edge. This is hand painted with beautiful white and blue flowers, yellow and green accents, the enamel is very thick and raised, no damage, original. The bowl has semi fluted sides, it is 4 1/2" across by 3" high, the sides are almost straight, some of the photos give it a more flared shape from the angle. Very glowing sparking crystal glass. Small Antique Amber Glass Apothocary Jar - Screw Lid/Neck & thin Translucent Top
This auction is for a small Amber glass Apothecary Jar that was saved by my family. The diameter is approx 1 1/2" Height is approx 1 3/8" The top of the jar is a ring that is similar to that found on mason jars. Inside the ring is a very thin& fragile piece of translucent plastic( It looks like amber color to me. But it could be dirt. Notice there is a crack in the plastic. I show this in several photos. There are no manufacturer's markings on any of the sides or the bottom. This jar is definitely dirty but I didn't attempt to clean it at all. and only took the top off once because it is so fragile. I'll leave cleaning to collectors! I haven't seen others like this on ebay. So perhaps it is a unique shape and size that will be of interest. Antique Amber Decanter Vase Paneled Molded Glass
Besides one little flea bite chip on the lip. This piece is mint. Has a smooth base. As you can see by the photo, the lip is not symmetrical. The seams of the panels have a droopiness to them, like excess glass. As you can see the amber is more saturated and less saturated in certain areas of the piece. This tiny beautiful bottle is very old and very charming. It is Czech cut glass featuring 2 distinct patterns: a waffle-type cut and leaf design; a gold colored(somewhat tarnished) top with an amber stone. No attempt has been made to clean the bottle either inside or outside so as not to ruin its antique value. It did once contain perfume. The fragrance of which is still detectible, and the residue in the bottle is evident. The applicator/dauber is intact. FABULOUS PAIR OF LARGE 17" ANTIQUE AMBER GLASS LUSTRES w/ EXTENSIVE GILDING These lustres are simply exquisite! They are heavily gilded over amber colored glass and both are signed on the bottom. Czechoslovakia" One also retains it's original label that reads, Made in Czechoslovakia" These are extremely large, measuring 17 1/4" high and 8 1/4' across the top! The glass is very thick and they are heavy. There is some gilt wear but minimal considering age and use and they are a little dirty. There are no chips, breaks or repairs on the lustres, but there is some damage on the prisms. There are 24 prisms on each one; 12 small ones that measure 3 3/4" long and 12 large ones that measure 7 1/4" Of the short prisms, one has been replaced with a different type and you might see some minor chips on a few. The ... morelarger prisms, two have badly chipped points; one is 1" shorter but the same type. Also, there are nine large prisms that are 2/8" to 3/8" shorter but the same style and hardly noticeable. A couple of the larger ones have small chips. This one seems to be an apothecary bottle of medium large size from somewhere in the early 1900' to perhaps 1930's would be our guess. It is an amber color with nice matching glass stopper. It is very clean and has no chips, cracks etc. to mention. We think this was more of an apothecary or doctor's supply type bottle versus being a decanter based on it's style and color. It is about 9 inches tall and 4.25 inches in diameter. There is an embossed glass mark on the bottom"8" and another one that appears to be an"M" or perhaps a"W" within a circle. That's about it. Eli Lilly Chlorodyne Bottle Measures approximately 3-3/8" tall. The list of ingredients on the label includes Nitroglycerin and Ext. Can. Ind. P.T. Extract of Cannabis Indica P.T. The front and back labels both have quite an evident amount of darkening. Discoloration, fading, loss and related edge wear. The loss and fading is evident enough that some of the text is rather difficult to read. The front label has some old writing on it. There is a partial label on the neck. The cork is stuck in there rather tightly. So I didn't try to remove it. The cork is definitely worn and darkened. It's probably brittle enough that if you did try to remove the cork, it could cause damage, so that is why I felt it was best to leave it as found. The bottle is empty. But even though it is probably impractical because of the cork, the inside of ... morethe bottle does need to be cleaned- you can see some residue in there. The tight area around the cork is also a little dirty. The underside of the bottle has some maker related imperfections to the glass- streaks or straw marks of sort. Presumably because of these imperfections. The bottle does wobble some on the table. The glass has no chips and no cracks. Antique German Huge Apothecary Amber Glass Jar Bottle Click on the thumbnails to view more photos This is the largest antique German amber glass apothecary jar I have ever seen. Found in Stuttgart. It has very heavy glass and dates to early 1900's. It measures 14" high and the bottom is about 7.5" across. The lid is 8 sided and the bottom of the stopper is chipped and has several cracks. The lip of the bottle has some chips. The label says AQ. DEMINERALISAT. There are scratches on the label. Do not miss out on this unusual find.
