Giacometti style console table metal & glass midcentury modern bird sculpture
This is a lovely console table that is. I assume, in the style" of Diego Giacometti, and not an original. I suppose it is possible that it is an original but I believe the originals were in bronze and this seems to be steel or cast iron, with a dark verdigris patina. There is a little bit of flaking of the patina, as can be seen in the pictures. It can be touched up. The thick glass top has a small chip to one corner. Otherwise this stylish table is in good condition. An original Giacometti console table sold at auction in New York for $1.7 million not so long ago. The table measures 37x32x16 inches and features a bird and bird bath. This is for pickup near Hancock Park in Los Angeles. Please do not bid if you can not pick this up. Vintage French Farmhouse Table
This wooden table is constructed with square peg joinery and features the classic apron. Tapered legs, breadboard and drawer that are characteristic of French farmhouse tables. We purchased this table from a woman in Sherman Oaks who said she had it custom made for her kitchen in the 1990s by a French carpenter in Los Angeles. The wood on the tabletop has lovely patina as well as a watermark and some surface wear. Please examine the photos. This table is the perfect size for a cottage or bungalow kitchen or dining room and may also be used as a large desk. It measures 52 inches long by 29 inches wide and is 30.5 inches tall. Mid Century Modern Lane Furniture Rhythm Solid Walnut 2-Tier Table 1960s 997-07
Outstanding vintage mid-century modern two-tiered end table made in the 1960's by Lane Furniture. This side or end table(no. 997-07) was made as part of the"Rhythm" collection. It is made from solid walnut. But has a lighter coloration, closer to teak. Clean, sleek modern lines were likely inspired by the Danish Modern movement. The underside of the table is stamped with serial numbers and the Lane mark. Overall, this table is in very good condition. However, there is some light wear and scratching consistent with use One watermark see photo. No breaks or repairs. The table stands 14 1/4" tall at the lower surface and 21 1/4" at the top tier.
