This table has a super thick wooden top measuring 42" wide x 27" deep x 2" thick. It is made up of three planks that are bolted to the legs. They don't extend to the back edge of the legs. And the edge color of the plank at the back indicates to me that there was more to the top at one time. I think it was a backsplash or something similar. Note the notched area on the front right where a vise once was mounted. There is a single old drawer mounted underneath the top. This pair of Heywood Wakefield end tables are in excellent structural condition. No splits, cracks or breaks. The table on the right has been refinished, there is no color mark, just the model number. The table on the left has the original champagne finish, it has contact paper in the drawer. Both tables could be refinished to match and look like brand new. These tables are model number M 794 G and were produced from 1953-1955. The top measures 30" by 18" the overall height is 22" The champagne table has some light gouges and a very small cigarette burn on the lower shelf. The chests are wood construction with all exposed areas clad or wrapped in brass. The fronts of the pieces feature substantial brass drawer pulls. The sides, tops and backs of the tables have multiple rivets. These are an exceptional pair. They are in very good condition with some cosmetic scuffs and some minor"age spotting" None of these are too severe or terribly distracting. The pieces are in excellent structural condition. We are pleased to offer this nice pair of Mid Century. Danish Modern, nightstands or side tables. The pair are sleek and feature 2 functioning drawers. They are made of wood with a dark stained finish. The table tops are composite wood with walnut veneer. The drawers feature brass hardware(handles) The pair have nicely contoured front legs and rounded, tapered back legs. They are very heavy and nicely constructed with each piece weighing about 30lbs. There are no manufacturer's stickers, but the backs are numbered and they are each dated 7/23/1965. They are in very good condition with minor evidence of age. There are a couple of minor nicks and surface scuffs that can be easily resolved. The tables measure 24" tall. They are 22" wide and 14.25" front to back. MID CENTURY MODERN ITALIAN REGENCY 2 DRAWER NIGHSTANDS TABLES MIRRORED MARBLED
We are pleased to offer this unique pair of Mid Century nightstands or side tables. The pair were made in Italy and feature sleek and modern. Regency style. They have white gloss side profiles and beautiful, creamy, off white and gray"faux marble" laminate tops and front profiles. They are squared/boxed in shape. They break from the squared shape at the top of the front. This area is angled and features a long mirrored glass accent. They each have two large drawers which provide generous storage. There is no hardware(drawer pulls or knobs) to distract from the striking vein pattern of the faux marble. The pair do not have any manufacturer's marks or stickers. However, one of the pieces still retains the"Made in Italy" sticker on the back. The pair are in good condition with a couple cosmetic signs of age/use. One of ... morethe nightstands has a cigarette stain on the top. This is not a burn that has eroded the laminate. It is a stain that has penetrated and discolored the surface. The other stand has an area of surface cracking to the laminate(photo#10) It is not terribly distracting. The mirrors are free of chips, breaks, etc. but there are small areas of loss of the mirrored paint around the border(photo#2) Again, this is not distracting. The nightstands are very heavy.
