Up for sale is an Ethan Allen coffee butler tray table that is an elite custom model. As one can note. The legs of the table are a designers choice as well as the checkers style top of the tray. The hinges are quality aged brass color. Overall as one can see from the pictures the table is very presentable and looks great. One can see a spot or two where the clear coat doesn't shine and a scratch but only when you look very closely and quite minimal in my opinion. This is a mahogany butler’s drop side coffee table dating from the last 30 years or so. The overall condition is really good. Including ... morethe brass hinges, and the sides can be flipped down, which gives the impression that it is a lift-off butler’s tray, but it’s fixed onto the table. The table is dark brown in color, and has a country style Chippendale leg and a cross-stretcher. When the sides are all flipped up, it is 31 inches long, 24 inches deep, and as high as 23 inches on the wings. When the sides are down, it becomes an oval that is 41 inches long, 33.5 inches deep, and 17 inches high. It’s in really nice condition on the face side, but you can see rub marks when it’s flipped up on the other side of the flip up. POSITIVELY stunning! top of table detaches. As you can see onthe underside along with the slides that keep the drop leaves up, near the hinges there are 4 pre drilled holes which attach the 4 leafs to the table. one of the coper rings around the table is a bit loose as well, the handle is solid wood with he beautiful turned look matching the leafs. the brass metal accents shaping the handle has a beautiful design on them,shown in picture 7. there is some glazing on the finish, the table is absolutely beautiful, one of the finest i have seen in quite some time the color is truly something beautiful the moss green almost pale color with the flowers matching top and bottom. the wheels are antique i believe with copper or brass metal, please look closely at these pictures and if you need more please ask. this is a wonderful item and im hoping ... moresomeone will truly enjoy its beauty and quality in there home!

There are brass hinges on each side that allow the handles to sit flat like a table or lift up to look like a tray. Tray-top features cutouts in each handle. Tray is cross braced for maximum stability.33" x 24' x 18' This table was not looking so good when acquired and it is. By far, not perfect. The tray does not lift off. I have done a light refinish to bring back the gorgeous contrasting wood tones and have begun to bring out the qualities of the original Baker finish on this table. The previous owner did not take great care of this piece and it was gray and ... morefilthy when purchased. As I began restoration, I found the top does have some scratches, but they aren't real noticeable with the parquet style top and only add the character of a long life of good use. It does show signs of normal wear from use and there are some dings on a couple of the legs, but it is still a beautiful addition to any Georgian, Contemporary, Mission Style or Traditional décor. Perfect for a lakehouse or your living room. Excellent for entertaining with highly sought after Butler's Tray top. This is a fantastic piece of Baker Furniture quality and timeless style. Baker Furniture Mahogany Butler Coffee Table. Lovely mahogany drop side butler table made by the Baker Furniture Co. The table is one piece so the top tray does not separate from the base. Excellent vintage condition probably refinished a few years ago. Light scratches under finish on edge as pictured. The solid brass hardware has some light wear. When the sides are down the table measures 41 inches in length and 32 inches in width and 18 ¼ high, when the sides are up the table measures 34 inches long, 25 inches wide and 22 ½ high and the Baker hallmark is underneath. Brass hinged sides can be turned up into a tray shape or laid flat for an oval table. Wood features a muted cross pattern on tray top. Measurements: Height 17 1/2" Width 21" when extended with arms down 31" Length 32" when extended 42" Flat oval measures 31" x 42" Very Well made and heavy. No major scratchers.
