Look at the great metal work on the shade supports& the Original multiple color swirl Slag glass surround by the Org. finish Oak base. This lamp base proudly stands 15" tall& a wing span of 11" for your shade.the arched feet of the base spread across 7 1/2" side to side. This base has not been messed with or taken apart. So I would say It has the Org glass. One side has the similar one on the opposite side it almost looks light colored(faded)but the wood is not faded& is still dark. So that's why I put a picture of the inside. For viewing all 4 pieces.the only way to change the glass is to completely take apart the base,which if you look at all the bottom corners it shows that it hasn't been taken apart. 2 out of the 4 metal shade holders have a little piece of wood they mount on& are loose. You are looking at one fine piece of furniture. Part of JDI Collection* and purchased new by the current owner 25 years ago for a larger home than the bungalow* she now resides in. She paid just under a $1000.00 for it from an elite furniture store. The photos say it best. I have included with and without flash photos so you can see it the hues in different lights. To my eye it is a bit less red and a bit more golden(typical of fine oak) then either set of photos shows. Since the carved legs stand proud the base is larger than the top surface. The base is approximately 40" x 40" outside foot edge to outside foot edge) and the top is 36+" x 36+" Stands 17" off the floor. Vintage Oak Slab Coffee Table Live Edge Mid Century Hairpin Legs
For your consideration is a vintage oak slab coffee table on hairpin legs. The live edge oak slab is 2 3/8" thick and has a bowtie inlay across a tight split. Overall the piece measures 42 5/8" long x 15 1/2"16 1/4" wide x 18 1/4" tall. The live edges(sap wood) have some evidence of insect borers. Which may have killed this tree. The holes have been filled with a darker brown filler for contrast. The slab has been sanded and given two coats of sealer and a hand rubbed wax finish. The last photo shows the bottom of the slab and residue of a couple different paint jobs the table has had in its life thus far.I think you will agree the natural beauty of the wood is much better! While the wood has been sanded and finished smooth there are cracks, holes and dings in this vintage piece as should be expected. The legs will ... morebe removed for shipping. For sale is a very sturdy and stout Oak Round End Table with Marble Top. It may also serve as a stand for a Fragonard Urn or Trophy or large Vase. Large enough to pull duty as a coffee table for a smaller living area. The marble is imported from Italy and is 3/4" thick. Despite a chip(very subtle.
