The top of the table measures about 40" in diameter while the base is 26" square x 18" high. Mid Century Modern COFFEE or SIDE TABLE Teak Two-Tier Danish Style Unusual Size
This is a nice mid-century coffee or side table with an interesting two-tier design. The table is an unusual size measuring approximately 28.5 inches long. 17 inches across and 22.5 inches tall. I believe it is made of teak wood, it is quite heavy and substantial. The table is not marked with a manufacturer's mark, but does have the word"Special" written in the bottom in cursive handwriting. I'm assuming this means that it was a special order item. This is a true vintage item and it does show signs of age and wear, particularly to the finish. There is some wear and chipping to the finish as shown in the photos. There is also a round area on the top where there is some damage to the finish, also shown in the photos. Mid Century Danish Modern Huge Expandable Teak Table by D-Scan Scovby Style
This is an incredible expandable teak table by d-Scan. It is incredibly well made. This listing is for the table only. I have shown pictures with the chairs for a sense of size. The chairs are available in another listing. One of my favorite things about this table is the double stretchers underneath which make this table stand out compared to similar ones. This table expands without moving the table base and can be easily done by one person. It has locks on either side underneath which keep the table in place until needed. It comes with the two large leaves 20.25" each which can be put in one at a time or together. When expanded. This table will easily seat 10 and could fit 12 people snugly. Both of the leaves come with a custom cloth bag(seen in pic#12) to keep them protected when not in use. The table and leaves are in excellent condition ... moreand everything moves and works smoothly. It also has table protector pads(seen in pic#10) which probably explains its excellent condition. Constructed from walnut with orange laminate top. This table measures approximately 17-1/4" Long X 16-1/2" Tall. Perfect for a small end table or bed side table. Styling is similar to a guitar pick and the black legs look like drum sticks. Very Danish Retro look. Side Table Retro Mid Century Danish Modern Style Bent Plywood Legs Laminate Top
I purchased this really cool. Small, vintage mid-century modern side table at an estate auction years ago(maybe 10 or so) in Louisville, KY. I was told at the time that the gentleman whose estate was being auctioned had worked for a furniture company and that this was a"prototype" or"sample" table. It is very sturdy and in good vintage shape. There are a few chips and scratches that I've tried to document in the photos, and there is some crazing on the top laminate that I tried to show, but photos really don't capture it. In most lighting, it's not very obvious. Overall it looks very good and would be a great complement to a modern space. The table top is 14.5" diameter. Height is 17" Thickness of table top is.75" The legs are bent-shaped engineered wood and the top of the table is a wood grain ... morelaminate. I will pack well and ship via UPS Ground upon clearance of payment through PayPal.
