Fantastic Danish Modern style end or side table. Raised lips on the side and tapered legs give this piece a sleek modern look. The eye-catching lower shelf is woven from cane. This table is likely modeled after a similar table designed for Selig by Paul Jensen. This one has less tapered legs. Only 2 raised edges as opposed to 4 and the cane is woven less densely. Wood looks like teak. Unsure of exact age, but the piece has a fantastic retro look. No maker's mark. Overall. This table is in very good condition. There is a darkened area in one corner of the top surface as well as a couple of minor dings. See pictures. The cane is in excellent shape. No significant breaks or repairs. Light wear only. Offered for sale is an Ethan Allen Vintage Classic Manor Maple/Birch Sofa Table w/Cane Top. This lovely table is item#15-9020 and was manufactured around the early 1980's. It can be found on page#177 of the 80th edition Ethan Allen Treasury of American Traditional Interiors. In this auction. I am selling the table without the glass top. The glass may break during shipping and could damage the cane top so it is not included. You will need a clear glass top that measures 11 3/4" x 55 3/4" x 1/8" In Dallas, the price of glass that size runs $17.00, so very reasonable. The glass sits recessed in the table and covers the cane completely(see pics#3,4) The measurements of the table are 60" wide x 16" deep x 27.5" tall. The sofa table is in excellent condition with just a few small nicks to the finish low on one ... moreleg(see pic#11) The cane is in excellent condition with the exception of the color variation which you can see in the pictures. Danish teak / cane coffee table by Trioh
Up for sale is a nice mid-century Danish coffee table. Made by Trioh. Sitting on top of a solid teak frame is a square teak veneer table top with solid teak bullnose edging. An original cane magazine shelf is tucked underneath. Exposed brass bolts contrast nicely with the teak finish and help express the table's construction. For a vintage piece. The table is in very good condition. The connections are solid, and the wood is in good shape, with a warm honey-colored patina that has developed nicely over the years. There are two condition issues that should be noted: 1) there is a slight rough patch on the table surface. I am not sure what caus ed this. But it is only noticeable at a specific light angle and by touch(see upper right side of top photo) 2) there are 3 lengths of cane missing on the magazine shelf(see front photo) This table ... morewould make a nice addition to any mid-century room décor. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Mid Century vintage coffee table. This large table features SOLID wood construction with British Isles/West Indies details which makes it perfect for elegant, beach cottage decor. The table is rectangular with a slightly bowed/curved front and back profile. The table has a deep skirt feature which is faced in a woven rattan with wood bamboo borders. The skirted section contains two generous drawers on the front profile. The drawers are also faced with rattan and have decorative pulls. The table top has a stained inlay pattern as well as a black and brown painted geometric design. The legs are fluted. The upper leg sections have carved tobacco leaf details. The balance of the legs have a deeply carved and notched design which replicates bamboo cane bundles. There is a carved rope detail at the lower ... moreleg section as if to tie the bamboo canes together. This is a beautiful and striking table. It is of substantial construction as the wood is"chunky" and not thin. The wooden table top is 1.25" thick. There are no manufacturer's marks or labels but the table is of upper end manufacturing. CLASSIC MID CENTURY FRENCH EMPIRE GILT IRON CANE TABLE JANSEN MASTERCRAFT STYLE
Beautiful Mid Century table. The table is iron with a gilded/gold leaf finish. A blackened glaze has been applied over the leaf during the manufacturing process for an aged character. This is done over a red bole base which gives the gold leaf a very rich color. The table legs are quite striking and are Empire style. The table is pictured with the original smoke glass top but it is chipped around the edges and the glass is scratched from years of use. We are NOT including the glass as it is easily replaced. There is a removable wood and cane shelf on the lower tier. The feet retain their original rubber"boots" for floor protection. The table is not marked but it is of very nice quality. It is in very good condition with some minor gold leaf loss. This is not severe or distracting and can be resolved. The table measures 28.75" ... morelong. It is 20.75" wide and 15.75" tall. But they are hard to find in this nice of ORIGINAL, unrefinished, well-cared-for condition. AND, we have NOT even oiled this beauty! You are viewing the table in its EXACT condition, so there is nothing left to chance. This is VERY stable, with no loose joints. Well constructed. We don't know who designed this one, but Trioh is well-known for high quality Danish furniture. This was made in Denmark as stamped on bottom. The cane or bamboo shelf is in GREAT shape with NO DAMAGE or issues! Yes, this will need cleaning as there is still dust in the nooks and crannies, but we only lightly wiped down with a dry cotton cloth to allow you to see the true condition. Old teak can shrink over time, but this one sits flat on our glass top tables(we also put on a large glass dining table and it rested flat) No wobble. BUT, your floor may vary. This is a HEAVY teak table and will last another lifetime. The dark red old growth teak wood is lovely. Imagine how gorgeous it will be once you oil it! Used item, not perfect. Teak and Cane side table(not labeled) approx: 31.5"w x 31.5"d x 19.5"h There are a few scratches and some breaks along the edge of the cane. Otherwise this is in very nice shape. I have had it in storage and that is where the cane broke. There are not any adjustments to the pictures or oil on the piece.
