Up for sale is a very nice Milo Baughman style mid century floating coffee table. This coffee table is constructed out of a laminate over a particle wood core. The laminate does have some damage spots on the corners of the table. They are not very noticeable when looking at it. The spots where the laminate is missing can easily be touched up with some black or brown paint to camouflage the damage if desired. This coffee table will make a great addition to any mid century modern home decor. The table has alot of surface area to place items on. Up for grabs is a very cool refinished mid century modern coffee table by Lane. This 1959 table features wood inlay on the top. A drawer in excellent working condition, and original black feet. Serial number and model number imprinted on the bottom of the drawer prove that this is an original. Vintage square mid century sculpted modern coffee side table danish
This is a beautiful mid century modern sculpted edge coffee or side table. The wood is teak. And the tapered edge is sometimes referred to as a"surfboard" style table. The design Aesthetic is very much Danish, similar to some of the pieces designed by Peter Hvidt and Grete Jalk. This table though was manufactured by Bassett. It has the makers stamp under the table. Condition is very good. Just some minor typical wear to the table. There is a lacquer finish that looks like it is wearing a bit uneven. And has a slightly wavy feel to the touch, though this lacquer has done an excellent job of preserving the overall condition of the table. It also has some very minor knicks and scratches around the table edges, and it probably was a bit more sturdy some 50 years ago, but it's what I've personally been using every day as my coffee ... moretable, and I've never had any complaints or concerns about its functionality or sturdiness.
