And light surface scratches and one very minor ding to glass, as pictured below. The brass could easily be polished if desired or left with the authentic aged patina. The frame is free of breaks but can stand to be tightened as it is slightly wobbly. The item can be tightened by tightening the screws for the legs that can be found under the felt pad at the top of each leg. Beautiful Italian La Barge brass coffee table. Excellent condition. Wonderfully aging brass(give it a polish if you're into the squeaky clean) with intricate ram hoofed feet. A heavier than life piece of beveled glass rests on top. Glass is free of chips. But surface shows signs of normal use(some minor scuffs here and there) Measures: 15" tall and 42 1/2" in diameter. A recent call and photos sent to this store resulted in the identification of this mid-century piece as being a La Barge. Though this was a professional"best guess. Apparently La Barge pieces in this era were designed with horse hoofs and seahorses legs such as this table. The table measures 51" x 32" and is 15.5" in height. 3/4" thick beveled glass is in excellent condition.
