Charming seahorse legged coffee table was purchased by my father and his wife in the 1970's at Flegel's Fine Furniture in Menlo Park, CA. A recent call and photos sent to this store resulted in the identification of this mid-century piece as being a La Barge. Though this was a professional"best guess. Apparently La Barge pieces in this era were designed with horse hoofs and seahorses legs such as this table. The table measures 51" x 32" and is 15.5" in height. 3/4" thick beveled glass is in excellent condition. Brass metal bottom is in overall good condition though there is some wear(darkening of brass) commiserate with its age. Could use ... morea good polish.
