Vintage magpie salt and pepper shakers on a tray- hand painted-made in Germany
These appear to have never been used.I think these are early magpies on a scenic base; base says hand painted underneath; Germany is engraved into the bottom of each shaker. NO cracks or chips; a bit of fine crazing on the base only. I think the base is ceramic but the magpies are porcelain. What a fun little pair.The base is 5 1/4 inches by 3 inches and the shakers are 2 1/4 inches high; with cork stoppers in the bottom. I think these are the most unusual shakers I have had. Antique Lenox Belleek Salt and Pepper Shakers Stamped Hand Painted Early 1900's
Offering a beautiful Antique Lenox Belleek tall salt and pepper shaker set in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. The gilt shows no sign of wear. The stamp on the bottom of each shaker is that of an artist's palette, a capital"L" encirled, below that are remnants of the word Belleek. This factory mark was used from 1906 to 1924. In 1952 artist L Tiernan hand painted a floral motif on each shaker and dated and signed the bottom. A truly unique and beautiful salt and pepper set for your collection or use. This delicate looking salt and pepper set is in very good condition. No chips or cracks. The salt shaker has the original cork inside, the pepper shaker is missing the cork. They also have a couple of barely visible hairline cracks. If you look closely you may be able to find them. There is an almost illegible manufacturers mark on the base which appears to partially read“hand painted” I found these at the Goodwill store. You decide if I found trash or treasure! For sale is this beautiful set of hand painted shakers made by Rosenthal. Bavaria. Made sometime between the late 1800s and early 1900s, this set features bold red and pink roses over a mint green background. The tops are coated in gold with scrolls on the sides. These shakers stand 2-1/2" tall and have a diameter of 1-1/2" They are both marked with the Rosenthal Bavaria backstamp. Condition Great condition. One of the shakers has a couple of slight. Shallow flakes underneath the bottom rim. Both shakers show some wear to the gold on top, primarily around the edges of the holes and along the top edge. Even so, they present beautifully. Blue & white sponge ware antique salt pepper shakers hand painted chinese goose
They are H 6"inches W 11" inches around the bottom base. They have some crazing on the bottom and in the goose due to age but its not noticeable unless your looking for it. There are a couple of chips underneath the bottom base as well but also not noticeable when they are upright. They have thick handles for durable use and there is some blue paint smudges on the bottom. They have a shiny glaze overall and the bottom has glaze around most of the center excluding the bottom outside edge which is a rough surface. They have what appears to be a Chinese goose hand painted with blue& white sponge ware. They are adorable and would be a exceptional addition to your collection!

Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this lovely pair of hand painted porcelain salt and pepper shaker I found on my last trip to France. Unmarked which was normal for such small pieces. We feel these are Limoges porcelain shakers. Very beautiful with hand painted pink flowers and green leaves on a soft multi pastel background. The shaker tops are painted in gold. They each have old cork stopers. They measure 2.5 inches tall and are in excellent condition for their great age. One has a tiny nip on the bottom inside rim and the other has a small line on the bottom rim. The colors are vibrant and the gold is in great condition. On each shaker are 2 hand painted daisies or"brown eyed Susans. They have butter yellow petals. A brown stamen& charming pointed olive green leaves. Below each flower are 3 columns of gold surrounded by a fine jet black liner. The tops of each are lush gilt extending down the sides& that too is has a fine jet black edge. Both have 13 pour holes with larger holes on one. Photo 5. I have washed them& placed new cork stoppers in each one. I have placed an old black glass hat pin in one of them as they can always to used for storing hat pins as well. That comes with them. Too. Offered are a pair of matching Antique Victorian Hand Painted Floral Rose Salt& Pepper Shakers. Very sweet& well done. The main color is a very light mint green. The rose design is the same on both sides with two pink roses tied together with pink ribbon. 2 1/2" high. slightly over 2" across. Marked on the bottom of the salt with a diamond is: HAND PAINTED C S STUDIO. Now this is the perplexing part. On the front of the salt under the roses is what looks like a date. To me it looks like 1774 or 71 but that can't be possible, can it? The tops are gold overlay& the holes seemed to be applied in a primitive way, some holes don't even go all the way through. This auction is for a lovely set of antique Hand Painted SALT& PEPPER Shakers- Artist decorated white ware from the"turn of the century" circa 1900. Unmarked and Unsigned- French Limoges. Bavarian or German porcelain white ware blanks. The shape of these shakers looks like tiny tea or chocolate pots complete with handles. Each is decorated with Red& Pink Roses on the front and a single pink rose on the back- over a shaded green background- slightly different on each piece. The tops and handles are beautifully gilded! 3" tall. 2.25" wide overall Condition: EXCELLENT- previously owned/gently used(if at all- may have been used for display only) antique porcelain- NO chips.
