Pictured for auction are two sets of Vintage Bell Color Coded salt& pepper shakers in good condition. Red& Green cap beads. Silver caps. These are perfect for a large table at Christmas. Or perfect on a boat.Red and Green. Port and Starboard. Used once for Christmas. But are in displayed condition. TWO SETS OF VINTAGE/ANTIQUE SALT& PEPPERS The first set is from Japan. Handpainted, no chips or cracks. The handpainting is very clear, intricate in some cases. The second pair shows a set of scales- no cracks or chips. The small white spot on the salt shaker seems to be more a spot that missed the glaze. Hand painted. On the bottom is a sticker that says Ipco Ceramics. Is the ipco just a part of the name? I don't know. These would be a lovely addition to your collection. No cracks or chips- perfect! The rooster is 3-1/4" tall x 2-3/4" x 1-1/2" and is marked"Japan" on the bottom. The hen is 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 1-3/4" and is marked"Made in Occupied Japan" on the bottom. Both pieces have corks& have some chipping paint. Particularly the red paint. The other pair are brown roosters. They have corks and are still filled. They are not marked.
