Hi! I have a Vintage Noritake Salt& Pepper Shaker with Matching Mustard Pot with Spoon and Round Tray. They are Art Deco Style. Hand painted Pink Roses and a Bird on the Mustard Pot with Gold Tops, handle and rims. The Salt& Pepper Shakers have cork stoppers. They are 2.5" tall. The Covered Mustard pot is also 2.5" tall. The Little Spoon is 3" long. They sit on a Round Tray. It's 4.75" Diameter. They have Hand painted Noritake M in Wreath Mark. They are in great condition. You are bidding on a Stunning& RARE Antique Noritake Hand Painted Porcelain Stein Style(handles) Blue Scenic Salt& Pepper Shakers made in Japan. A few things that make these so Rare is the Stein Style Shakers. They are hard to come by. These are dated around the 1920's due to the fact of the blue Noritake stamped emblem on the bottom. Some of these type emblems come in blue. Green, or red. The M in the middle of the wreath is for the Morimura Bros. Meaning items with the M in the middle started in the year 1916. Ok, enough of the history lesson! The Lovely Blue bell shaped shakers are hand painted of two different types of trees& a house or little shack over looking a mass of water. The top of the shakers are completely painted gold& the handle is white with accented blue and gold trim. On the bottom, it has the label ... moreor emblem I was talking about and two cork stoppers. Another thing, one hole is larger than the other so you can tell them apart. This listing is for a Antique. Noritake Nippon Handled Shaker or Muffineer. The bottom is marked with"Hand Painted Nippon" with a rising sun trademark, usually attributed to Noritake and likely dating between 1911 and the 1930's. The handled shaker features two pink roses with leaves bordered with gold trim. The top half has a pale yellow band. The piece is trimmed in gold on the handle, top, bottom and sides. The shaker measures 2 1/4" in diameter at the base. 2 1/4" high and weighs 2.2 oz. There are no chips. Cracks, fleabites or repairs on the piece. There no usage marks or crazing. The handpainted design and gold trim are in excellent condition with light wear on the top and handle. I have for you this evening a beautiful example of porcelain made at the kilns of Noritake made during the nippon era of the late 19th to very early 20th century. This piece is made of very fine quality porcelain that has been cast into a unique triple handle mold design. This piece has been fully hand painted with a scenic design of a sail boat on a river and the handles have been decorated with moriage slip decoration for added tactile and visual appeal. This will make a unique and lovely addition to your collection and will display beautifully no matter the setting you choose to display it in. Item dimensions and dating: All measurements are approximate. This triple handle toothpick holder measres 2" tall and dates from the very early 20th century by the marks and design elements. Item condition report: This piece is in excellent ... morevintage condition with no chips. Cracks or crazing. The hand painted scene is in excellent condition and the moriage slip decoration on the handles appears to be fully intact. This piece shows like mint and indeed I do not believe the piece to have ever been used as it is very clean in every way.
