The mustard pot has a domed lid with ball finial with bright cut decoration and reeding around the outer edge. The body of the mustard pot has bands of reeding to the top and bottom and has straight sides with superb bright cut decoration and a crest to the front. The mustard pot has a pierced thumbpiece above a scroll handle. The mustard pot has it's original blue glass liner. The mustard pot is 3-1/4 inches/ 82 mm wide and 2-1/2 inches/ 63 mm in diametre. It stands 3-3/4 inches/ 96 mm high and weighs 107 grams without the liner and 198 grams in total. The underside of the mustard pot has clear hallmarks- lion passant. Hand painted Pink Roses and a Bird on the Mustard Pot with Gold Tops, handle and rims. The Salt& Pepper Shakers have cork stoppers. They are 2.5" tall. The Covered Mustard pot is also 2.5" tall. The Little Spoon is 3" long. They sit on a Round Tray. It's 4.75" Diameter. They have Hand painted Noritake M in Wreath Mark. They are in great condition. Part of a set of four which I am listing, each with shiny cobalt blue jackets, naturally painted faces and hair and yellow slacks. Their hats are transferware printed with snippets of classic blue willow pattern. He is in excellent condition. The hat has crazing on the underside and the yellow painting on the top is somewhat matte and gritty. The base has some darkened hairlines through it and several of them can be seen faintly from the top of the base. But overall he is in lovley display condition. This auction is for an Antique Pewter Lidded Mustard Pot. With Four Ball Feet, c. 19th Century. I have been selling Antique pewter for years and every once in awhile you come across a piece that is really special. This lovely little mustard pot is one of those pieces. The mustard pot has a hinged lid with a ball finial on top and it stands on four ball feet. This covered mustard pot is marked only with an impressed. W" on the underside of the base. It also has what I believe to be the original owner's name engraved on the front, Wm. Sullivan" above a floral and leaf design. I would date it from the middle of the 19th century. Ceramic salt and pepper shakers with mustard pot
This set is in good condition the tray that comes with it is about nine and a half inches long. The salt and pepper shakers are about two and a half inches tall so is the mustard pot. The salt and pepper shakers have their corks they were made in Japan. There is one little chip you can barely see it. Its in the third picture.
