I call this a new antique made out of solid wood. Some recycled. It is painted Cream over Red with Old Fashioned Milk Paint, then had a light stain and wax applied. It is an old distressed crackled peeling finish. It's got some old nail holes, knots,etc. which adds to it's character. Overall height is 40 1/2" the main cabinet is 23" wide by 8" deep. The top is 28" by 10 1/2" It also has some old cut nails and the shelves are adjustable, see photo. The door is an old window frame with old wavy glass. It is one of a kind. This is craftsman quality and looks authentic. I've had people in the store who think it is old until I tell them it is new. Some of the wood is probably over 100 years old.

Up for bids is this Antique 19thC Hard Wood Wall Hanging Cupboard Curio Cabinet w/ Glass Door. This piece was made during the mid to late 19thC and I believe that it is probably English or Welsh. The cupboard measures 20" high x 14" wide x 5 1/2" depth. The front has a glass door that opens with a metal circular piece of hardware. There is fluting in the wood on the top of the cupboard and on the inside there are 2 scalloped edge shelves. On the back if the inside are tiny metal nails and also small metal hooks that I believe someone added in order to hang jewelry from. They can easily be removed. This 3 shelf hanging cupboard/ curio cabinet would be a nice way to display a special collection and keeping it free of dust. Vintage LP Record Cabinet Table Black Wood Drop Down Door TLC
Vintage LP record cabinet. This cabinet measures about 42 inches tall. By 20.75 inches wide and 15.5 inches deep. It is made of wood. I did not notice any markings on it. It has some partitions in the bottom of the cabinet for standing up LP records. It also has a hinge down door that opens to display some shelves inside. This cabinet requires some TLC. The hinge down door is completely off the cabinet and would need to be re-attached. One of the chains used to attach it is missing(see photo for the chain that is not missing) Also, it appears that one of the hinges is missing. Some of the edges of the cabinet have small gouges in the wood and a small piece is missing on the top of the cabinet. The cabinet is painted black- I'm not sure if this is original or not. It's got it's original paint(white) Which was painted over with a light green paint color chipped off and flaky to give it a great look with tons of character! It's chippy paint with lots of wood showing and a wonderful patina! It is an old cabinet and has it's original old hinges and latch. Painted white inside with lots of original crackly paint- white paint looks to be original and the green paint is old and not sure when it was added. Two holes in the back probably for hanging at one time. The cabinet measures 18" wide x 20" high x 5 1/4" deep. Inside shelves are 5 1/2 tall approximately it weighs 17 lbs. It's got it's original paint green which was painted over with an off white/ beige color. All of which has chipped, flaked and peeled off to give it a great look with tons of character! It's chippy paint with wood showing and a wonderful patina! It is an old cabinet and has the original hardware hooks for hanging, small little round rubber or plastic black and red knob, old hinges and old metal key hole(no key) The mirror has some paint around the edges that could probably be scraped off. The mirror itself will not be able to be cleaned off. The black marks look like it come from inside the mirror leaving some permanent black spots, as if the finish of the mirror has spots on ... moreit where the mirror part isn't there at those spots. It does have it's original wood removable shelf inside. The inside does have a sweet smell or odor to it on the inside. It's not offensive or musty- sort of sweet like baby powder or something else. Not sure. Some issues. The sides of the cabinet are mortise and tenon jointed in to the top and bottom of the cabinet which are the rectangles that you can see in the pictures on the top and bottom of the cabinet. The hinges work nicely and the knob on the front is plastic or it might be rubber. There's a lock and an escutcheon on the front but there's no key for the lock. The door does have a little lever/ latch on the outside to hold it closed as you can see in the pictures. The inside has old chippy paint also. The back is made out of a piece of Masonite board or something similar. There are also two hooks to hang it from. The cabinet is a nice size and measures 14" H x 14" W x 4.75" D- a nice size!
