There is slight pull away of the dovetailing on the bottom, but I think you could probably carefully tap it back into place. The previous owner did a very slap-up job of putting a dark stain on it, so the finish is somewhat inconsistent, you can see the oak in places inside, and there are faint watermarks on top, but I honestly love the look and character of this piece, and it's completely solid and functional. All four metal sliders are still inside, though they are a little stiff/rusty. Measures about 16" x 13 1/2" x 9 1/2".

Vintage walnut finish cabinet School Library Index Card Catalog 15 drawer
You are looking at a vintage 15 drawer library card catalog cabinet. It is a solid well built piece that has tons of repurposing possibilities! It has a walnut finish. The top is walnut veneer, which has some chipping and the one side has some marks that look like a child's doodling. The top does lift off and the main cabinet lifts off the legs so transporting will not be difficult. It measures 33 1/2" in length 17 1/4" wide 39 1/2" tall. I believe it was made in the 1970's. Antique 2 Drawer Oak Library Index Card File Cabinet Remington Rand
Up for bid are two. Antique two drawer Remington Rand library filing cabinets. The drawers are original to the cabinets, but the handles were changed out at some point. One drawer does not have a handle. There are some markings on the exterior and the cabinets are showing some age, but overall they are in great shape. The original index card holder hardware has been removed, but the drawers still slide perfectly. These belonged to my grandpa and we believe he got them from the U.S. Military during WW2. There is a tag on both cabinets that states U.S. Government property. These would be an excellent addition to anyone's collection, or be perfect for crafts or office storage. Vintage Globe Wernicke Dove Tailed Card Index Cabinet Light Oak 2 Drawer
You are bidding on a card index cabinet. This has dovetailed on it. Drawers on inside are green metal. There is a tag on the inside of the cabinet that says: Card Index Cabinet The Globe Wernicke Co. Cincinnati Made in USA. Finish Number 3815 1/2 Light Oak. The drawers hardware has been replaced. This does show some wear to the top and front of drawers. This cabinet would look wonderful refinished. It measures 14 x 16 x 5 1/4 inches.
