For sale is this beautiful set of hand painted shakers made by Rosenthal. Bavaria. Made sometime between the late 1800s and early 1900s, this set features bold red and pink roses over a mint green background. The tops are coated in gold with scrolls on the sides. These shakers stand 2-1/2" tall and have a diameter of 1-1/2" They are both marked with the Rosenthal Bavaria backstamp. Condition Great condition. One of the shakers has a couple of slight. Shallow flakes underneath the bottom rim. Both shakers show some wear to the gold on top, primarily around the edges of the holes and along the top edge. Even so, they present beautifully. Blue & white sponge ware antique salt pepper shakers hand painted chinese goose
They are H 6"inches W 11" inches around the bottom base. They have some crazing on the bottom and in the goose due to age but its not noticeable unless your looking for it. There are a couple of chips underneath the bottom base as well but also not noticeable when they are upright. They have thick handles for durable use and there is some blue paint smudges on the bottom. They have a shiny glaze overall and the bottom has glaze around most of the center excluding the bottom outside edge which is a rough surface. They have what appears to be a Chinese goose hand painted with blue& white sponge ware. They are adorable and would be a exceptional addition to your collection!

Antique Gaudy Welsh Hand Painted Condiment Set with EPNS Stand and Spoon
Selling a lovely three piece Gaudy Welsh condiment set complete with stand and one spoon. The silver-plate stand has not been cleaned. But it certainly can be polished up if you like and it would be beautiful. All silver is marked EPNS and spoon is stamped T. Turner's Encore. The porcelain is in very good condition with the exception of some decent sized chips on the bottom of the pepper, shown in last 2 photos, the mustard container also appears to be missing the metal ring that goes where porcelain meets cap. The only other flaws I found were age related paint wear. Please enlarge and thoroughly examine photos as they are part of description and don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have before bidding. On each shaker are 2 hand painted daisies or"brown eyed Susans. They have butter yellow petals. A brown stamen& charming pointed olive green leaves. Below each flower are 3 columns of gold surrounded by a fine jet black liner. The tops of each are lush gilt extending down the sides& that too is has a fine jet black edge. Both have 13 pour holes with larger holes on one. Photo 5. I have washed them& placed new cork stoppers in each one. I have placed an old black glass hat pin in one of them as they can always to used for storing hat pins as well. That comes with them. Too. Antique Austrian Salt Pepper Hand Painted Signed CM Vroman Art Nouveau 1911
Antique Austrian Salt& Pepper Set made of porcelain. Hand painted/gilded with gold and floral design in an Art Nouveau style. They are each marked Vienna. Austria and also have a crown, lion and coat of arms. Royal Vienna? They are signed C M Vroman 1911, perhaps the artist? In very good condition and beautifully painted. Both have the original cork stoppers. The shaker with larger holes(salt? has a fine line about 1- 1 1/2" long on the back(less decorated) side that seems to be beneath the finish. This auction is for a lovely set of antique Hand Painted SALT& PEPPER Shakers- Artist decorated white ware from the"turn of the century" circa 1900. Unmarked and Unsigned- French Limoges. Bavarian or German porcelain white ware blanks. The shape of these shakers looks like tiny tea or chocolate pots complete with handles. Each is decorated with Red& Pink Roses on the front and a single pink rose on the back- over a shaded green background- slightly different on each piece. The tops and handles are beautifully gilded! 3" tall. 2.25" wide overall Condition: EXCELLENT- previously owned/gently used(if at all- may have been used for display only) antique porcelain- NO chips. Each place setting had its own salt cellar with a little bit of salt in the bowl that could be pinched and added to the food by the diner. They are hand-painted with delicate rose flowers. Antique Hand Painted Bavarian Salt and Pepper, 1880's RARE colors
You are bidding on a gorgeous set of Bavarian salt and pepper shakers that are hand painted and signed. I bought them at an estate sale where the woman only bought antiques from the decade of the 1880's. Several items that I have had looked at by experts have actually dated some things into the 1870's. These are very unique in that they are yellow and brown. Most Bavarian items that you see are the pinks and blues. So few in the earth tones. What an opportunity! They have gold gilding on the top of the shakers and it is intact everywhere except a small spot on what I figure out was the salt shaker. You can only see it by turning it upside down. There are no cracks, crazing in the glaze, they are perfect and will make a wonderful gift for you or for the collector in your life. I will miss them when they are gone! Rare. Art Nouveau salt and pepper shakers, porcelain, hand painted in classic Art Nouveau style with hand gilded tops. These are in good used condition. This listing is for 6 individual hand painted porcelain salt shakers. Includes 2 primary color blue with white and gold and 4 white with gold and floral. All six shakes are the same height of 3" tall. None of these have the"cork stopper" for bottom. No crazing. Cracks or major flaws. Some of the gold paint is wearing due to age and use.
