The map measures approximately 26 3/8" x 18 1/8" Some of the edging is torn and discolored. And there are some water stains. The page numbers are missing because the upper corners have triangle shaped pieces missing where the page numbers would be. The map is laying on a white foam board but is not connected to the form board. It is held in place with plastic. This is a great Civil War Era antique! This map measures about 26 1/4" x 18 1/8" and plenty of room for matting. It has been placed on a foam board and wrapped in plastic as to protect it from further damage. The plastic does not adhere to the map it is simply placed over it. There are no folds and will be shipped flat. Secure and rigid so it does not bend during delivery.
