Printed in the late-19th century, on quality paper which retains its inherent structural flexibility and soundness. A much less common map than one might think. Given that it originally appeared in the huge format and quite expensive shipping atlas which had a far smaller distribuition, not in one of the much more common smaller quarto-sized Family home atlases this company produced. Overprinted in red to show the railroad stops. In VG or better condition. Some light minor age wear which scarcely warrants any mention[note: we grade very conservatively and always seek to disclose any noteworthy flaws] The printed area remains visually pleasing. A nice ... moreimpression of a very detailed and uncommon oversize antique map. Sheet measures c. 14" W x 20 1/2" H. This offering features a one-page Rand McNally. Detailed, multi-color map of Idaho. The map was rescued from the Library Atlas of the World, which was in unsalvageable condition, and which was published in 1894 by Rand McNally& Co. The last three photos validate the origin of the map and the publishing date. This map has a page size of 10-1/4" wide x 14" long. And an image size of 9-1/8" wide x 12-1/2" long. The map's condition is excellent, with no holes or tears in the image, and only a few very small nicks in the edge of the white margin, and some yellowing of the paper with age. Nice 1890 Crams Railroad and county map of The State of Idaho. Map is in fair condition. Showing all railroads from the time. It does have a fold in the middle as well as some slight browning. One noticable stain on the top section as pictured. The Paper is not brittle. Noticeable corner and edge wear. Please refer to pictures above. Map Measures 25" Long 17.5" Wide This Map along with other that will be listed was found in a Crams World atlas from 1890. The Book was in horrible condition. Water damage and other things that like to hid in dark places. I have saved what maps I could from the book that are in good shape.
