It features two children frolicking while picking flowers. The girl in the front is holding a basket. It has a lovely old patina and a little dirt that has absorbed into the cement after many. Many decades of sitting outside. Buyer may want to clean it but I chose not to as I believe it would compromise the patina. Some of the cement has washed away in a few places and the steel supports inside have become visible. I really like this look as it is evidence of its age. This statue weighs 35lbs and these old cement statues were made to last. This is really a gorgeous piece of chalkware statuary. A sweet cherub holding up a large circular dish. This dish has been described in many ways; a birdbath. It's very attractive, the quality is outstanding, made in the 50's by the Alexander Backer Co, this piece stands the test of time. Antique Wrought Iron Architectural Garden Gate 36" Blacksmith Made Folk Art Old
Gate measures 35.5" wide and the hinge dogs add another 2" The height is about 33.25" The gate was hand made and the flat embellishments at the top were hammered out on an anvil. Perfectly solid with no loose parts. It appears there was a chain welded to the latch side at some point in its long life and one partial link remains. This can be easily ground off and cleaned up and I will gladly do that for the winner if so desired. The gate weighs 35 pounds before packing and I'm not afraid to ship it if you're not afraid to pay the actual UPS shipping.

Blades spin freely when big wheel is rotated in forward direction. Stop rotating when wheel is rotated backwards. Not a rusted relic. Mostly surface rust. Nuts and bolts that we tested all turned with little effort. If you look closely. You can still see some of the original factory blue on silver pin-stripe design in places. Note the somewhat crude way the wooden handle(last picture) is attached to the wooden shaft. The mower is not marked that we could see.
