Vintage 1955 Hudson Bug Sprayer - Duster with Spray Can - Made in the USA -
Sorry. No shipping outside of the United States for this auction. This auction is for a vintage Hudson Bug Sprayer made in 1955. Condition is good and paint is still bright. The paint does show some scratches in spots. And there is one very small dent on the copyright date. The compression also seems to be good and can probably still be used. I am not sure if the can is original, but it will be included with the sprayer. Markings on the bottom read: 6440 HANDY(along with some magic marker that someone wrote on) On the can there are small dents all around, and surface rust on the outside. The inside still looks OK. This is for the piece of equipment that you see here. Not 100% positive what this is. I believe it to be a very old. And unusual, bug sprayer or plant duster/sprayer. Not sure. I am sure it is old, though. Very old. Possibly from the 1920's or 1930's? Perhaps later, and possibly earlier? Not really sure. I just know I have not found one anywhere before. The plunger extends out all the way, as you can see, but it does slide somewhat difficult. May nee lubrication, or something. Does not move real freely. The bodu of the piece is 12" long, 5.25" tall, and 3" wide. Very unusual and very collectable. Not sure the make. Some of the original red paint still on it. As you see, but not much. Vintage Hudson Patrol Duster Bug/Weed Sprayer
Up for your consideration is a vintage Hudson Patrol Sprayer. Built by the H. D. Hudson Manufacturing Co. Chicago Ill. This sprayer still has the label though it's a little frayed(see pics) The sprayer has some rust but not eaten through. The handle still moves in and out. The glass container is still intact. I don't know the date of the manufacturing of the sprayer but it appears to be the oldest one listed on EBay at the current time. This would look great hanging in the garage.
