Vintage Sears. Roebuck and Co. Peerless Continuous Sprayer(Copper and Brass) Up for auction is a vintage Sears. Roebuck and Co. Peerless Continuous Sprayer for Home and Garden. This old sprayer is made of solid copper and brass, and has a handle made of wood. It still retains the original label! The entire sprayer is made from solid copper with the exception of the long tube and nozzle tip which are solid brass. It is in excellent cosmetic condition with a very nice patina, although it is probably no longer functional due to the age of the rubber seals. The copper tank measures 4” in diameter. Vintage Antique French Wasp or insect catcher to hang in Garden Tree, pink glass
I am moving home soon. So having a MASSIVE clear out, with hundreds of household items& Silver, so please look at my other auctions as I will combine postage to save you money. I bought this wasp catcher at a French brocante antiques market about 15 years ago. And hung it in my tree when I lived in the country next to a vineyard. It has now been in storage in London for 7 years, and so I am selling it. It is really lovely, and although it needs a good clean, it is not chipped or cracked, and has a slightly grey/pinkish/lilac tinge to the glass. Due to an emergency. I am now, unexpectedly, going to be away until 15th April, so pick up from London SW6, or postage will have to be after that. Sorry, and many thanks.

DB Smith BLIZZARD Utica NY copper brass insect garden sprayer nice patina VGC
This auction is for a vintage BLIZZARD insect or garden sprayer. It was made in Utica NY by DB Smith& Co. probably back in the 1940s. The pump is solid brass and the round tank is solid copper. It is in very nice cosmetic condition the patina is nice and I haven't tried to clean or polish it. The piston in the pump is dried out so will need to be lubed or replaced. This is complete except for the tank brass suction tube and all original right down to the end jet spray plug. The spray jet is open and it has 2 positions one for putting it away and seals it so it won't leak. This is in collectible condition with no easily detectible dents or dings. It was used on the farm primarily to rid chickens of lice. But was also used in the garden to apply insecticide to plants. It dates, I would guess, to the late 1800s. It has a tin litho label and is in very good working condition(as I found out when I pressed down on the plunger and insecticide powder blew out) The plunger button is brass and embossed with the company name. Vintage Hudson Manufacturing Co metal garden/insect hand pump duster sprayer with can cylinder. Measures 16 1/2" long without pump extended. 27" when pump is extended. Can cylinder is 4 1/4" in diameter and 4 1/2" wide. Hand pump works. I haven't been able to get the cap off of the can part. Vintage condition is overall good with heavy patina. But good graphics. Plunger works but I have not put any liquid in this item so I have no idea if nozzle works as intended. This items has heavy surface rust and wear due to use and age. Glass reservoir screws and unscrews just find. When removing the glass, some surface rust dust comes free from the attached metal cap. There is no cracks,chips,or breaks in the green glass container. Despite the rust this item does function. Unable to test with liquid,because i didn't want to cause further wear on this item.
