ANTIQUE NEOCLASSICAL ENGLISH IRON GARDEN URN This beautiful neoclassical shape urn is a genuine antique. Circa early 1800s but could be late 1700s. Many layers of paint were stripped and the urn was polished with a wire brush. It’s thick and heavy cast iron with fine details and it is still in perfect condition. No chips, no cracks. However, from over 200 years of use since the metal inside was pretty much rusted it shows deep cavities, which will not be noticeable ... morewhen the urn is filled with dirt. It is a planting urn because it has a drain, therefore your plants will not drown and can feel comfortable in this urn for many years. This urn comes apart into two parts. The top has 6 little doo-dads sticking up, I think to keep an urn in place, and it has the# 2. The bottom base has a small chip approx. 3/4" long, on one side, and a corner chip, approx. 1 3/4" long. The base is approx. 15 5/8" tall, 9 5/8" square on the top, and 11" square at the bottom.

Large Antique Cast Iron Cherub Statue Planter Urn Sculpture Lawn & Garden
Here is a beautiful old large solid cast iron cherub garden statue. The statue is quite large and measures about 34" high. The base is 12- 13" in diameter, and this is a very heavy solid piece. My guess would be 70 lbs or more, but I have not weighed it. It is a lovely piece, a nude cherub child, draped with cloth, and holding a large urn/ planter. It has some areas of rust, but in general, is in great condition. It looks like there may have been repair on his one hand that is holding the urn, but it is difficult to tell as his knuckles may be bent- I have shown a picture of this area. This is a beatiful lawn or garden or lakefront piece, and would look stunning with a beautiful flower pot placed in the urn. ATQ Cast Iron Planter/Urn Garden Flower Pot from 1850 Carriage House
A beautiful antique flower planter/urn/pot. It was used at an 1850's carriage house that was unfortunately being torn down for a parking lot. We salvaged what we could so it wouldn't end up in a landfill and lost forever. I don't know it's actual age but that is where it came from. It would make a wonderful addition to your yard or even used indoors. Made from cast iron that looks like it was put together by hand. You can see where the seams were welded etc. but it does not detract. It adds to it's beauty. This beautiful planter measures approx. 14 inches tall by 11 1/2 across at the top. Condition seems appropriate for it's age. Please look closely at the pictures as they give you the best description. I can't possibly know what one person will think is a flaw and another an enhancement. There is some surface ... morerust. I did only very light cleaning as many like items left as is. If you look at the third picture. You will see a thin crack on the rim. It it not really easily seen with the naked eye. Even with the thin crack it is a gorgeous old planter. You can see in the pictures that it kind of changes tone colors depending on how the light is hitting it. For those who may think only a"Top Rated" Vendor can be trusted to be a good seller. I lost my status because I didn't list/sale enough in a certain amount of time. Frankly I don't think it goes hand in hand but I will have it back when I sell more items in a certain amount of time. An old granite ware wash basin set on top for a garden bird bath and bring it in for the winter as a table or plant stand. 30" tall x 20" wide. The base is 14 x14" This is very well made. It came from an estate, and will look good in any mansion, garden, yard, patio, lawn, deck, or palace. If you like it clean looking the paint will come off easily. It is heavy gauge and will last a life time. It's about 1/3" thick. When pics were taken there was ice and dirt in it. Picture it with a new coat of paint, black or white. It is heavy so shipping is difficult. You may have to arrange a shipper. It stands about 15 inches high(top of urn bowl) or 21 inches at the top of the removable arms/handles. The square bottom base is about 8.5 inches along each side. The urn's bowl has an upper rim diameter of 21 inches across and the diameter across the arms/handles is about 30 inches. Beautiful OLD Vintage French CAST IRON GARDEN URN Planter
Don’t miss out on my weekly Auctions! This is a Beautiful Vintage French Cast Iron Urn Planter. It an older piece that is made out of heavy iron that weighed about 19 pounds. It has a couple of layers of old paint. It is beautifully shaped with an ornate handle each side. It is in nice vintage condition with aged patina and some rust spots inside. I believe that it had an additional piece on top of each handle because there are screw holes. But it is now missing(see close ups) What a great decor piece for your garden.
