Vintage 1955 Hudson Bug Sprayer - Duster with Spray Can - Made in the USA -
Sorry. No shipping outside of the United States for this auction. This auction is for a vintage Hudson Bug Sprayer made in 1955. Condition is good and paint is still bright. The paint does show some scratches in spots. And there is one very small dent on the copyright date. The compression also seems to be good and can probably still be used. I am not sure if the can is original, but it will be included with the sprayer. Markings on the bottom read: 6440 HANDY(along with some magic marker that someone wrote on) On the can there are small dents all around, and surface rust on the outside. The inside still looks OK. Sprayer is in"rusty gold" condition. The paint is worn, there is surface rust, the plunger doesn't seal- HOWEVER, the glass bowl is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and has the actual HUDSON marking on the bottom. Has original wooden handle and plunger. For sale is this nice old vintage Hudson Sprayer. It is a 2-Spray Continuous Sprayer with the large galvanized tank. The front of the tank displays the Hudson logo. The tank measures 6" in diameter and 7" wide. The graphics on the 13" tube are great and it has a wood handle. This is an estate find and is being sold in as found condition. Vintage HUDSON sprayer mister duster green glass bowl 1950's WORKS plant waterer
For sale is a Vintage" HUDSON" sprayer/duster. This sprayer has been rinsed out and tested. And it works. Gives a nice spray/mist. Ideal to be put back to use as a bug type sprayer or used as a plant mister/waterer(or think of a few other uses) About 12" long with the glass reservoir being around 3" across the base. The green colored glass holder has no cracks or chips and cleaned up very well. The bottom of the glass has" MADE IN U.S.A. 63 A 8 65 7" The sprayer does have rust and scratches as well as some surface loss. The gasket is somewhat worn and dirty but still intact. Vintage Hudson Sprayer RED and Blue Metal with GORGEOUS Green GLASS sprayer They're all made out of plain metal today.but if you're old enough you might remember back in the 40's and 50's& 60's when these old sprayers were made with the glass bottles attached. This one is a small one too! AND it STILL WORKS when you tilt it down towards the plant and spray! Unfortunately when I come across any of these they're usually all bent up OR the colors are all rusted out OR they no longer have their glass bottles.OR the little wooden handle is missing.thus just not very visually appealing. NOT the case with this one! The colors are still BEAUTIFUL.the wooden handle is still 100% INTACT. and THIS ONE has the GREEN GLASS bottle! PLUS it's in the harder to find PRIMARY color of RED with blue lettering(most you find are ... morePRIMARY blue with red lettering. I prefer the BRIGHT Red contrasting with the bright green bottle. The bottle has NO Chips.NO cracks and NO defects whatsoever! They were once used to spray to kill bugs on plants etc. NOW they've become popular to fill with water to MIST plants with. Vintage Hudson Patrol Duster Bug/Weed Sprayer
Up for your consideration is a vintage Hudson Patrol Sprayer. Built by the H. D. Hudson Manufacturing Co. Chicago Ill. This sprayer still has the label though it's a little frayed(see pics) The sprayer has some rust but not eaten through. The handle still moves in and out. The glass container is still intact. I don't know the date of the manufacturing of the sprayer but it appears to be the oldest one listed on EBay at the current time. This would look great hanging in the garage.
