VINTAGE CAST IRON COG GEAR WHEEL CLOVER LEAF DESIGN GARDEN IMPLEMENT
Up for bid is a very nice condition solid cast iron gear. Cog, or wheel. Found at a farm auction some months back, I purchased it to make a table for a client, who after the purchase changed her mind, typical. So, without further ado, it is up for sale or bid for that matter, to the highest bidder. The gear or cog is approximately 14-3/8" in diameter and has a center that protrudes out from the wall about 2-1/4" deep. It has a wonderful 4-leaf clover design or a quadrafoil to those of you who think in religious terms. It is rather heavy, probably weighing in around 20 pounds at least. It will be a nice addition to a garden sculpture or just hanging on the wall. Shipping and insurance will be $35.00. Antique Vintage Horse Drawn Implement Steel Wheel Halves; Farm Decor; Ind. Art
You are bidding on a pair of vintage. Antique horse drawn implement steel wheel halves. These came off of an old horse drawn walk behind cultivator. The wheels are in rusty original condition, and the top surface has pickling or divots in the steel. These wheel rims are thick, and rusting through is not a concern. The wheels measure 30 inches wide at the base and stand approximately 11 inches tall when stuck slightly in the ground. The wheel rims are slightly over 1 inch wide. I left the center spoke a little bit long so it can stick in the ground and help anchor. These are light rims and could have a lot if different applications. I will prime and paint them a color of the winning bidders choice if desired for an additional $10 over the winning bid. Shipping is free in the continental United States.
