The metal is rusty. The top to the seed bucket is missing. The handle to disburse the seed is tied to this farm tool with string. There is a number on the front wheel housing that I cannot make out. Antique 1920's-30's Planet Jr. hand plow chassis farming tool
Chassis from a Planet Jr. hand plow. Don't know the exact date of manufacture but from somewhere between the late 1920's to 1940's, the heyday of Planet Jr. farm equipment. The handles have been long gone. And the blades and furrows as well. Nevertheless, this chassis is in great condition, especially after i cleaned the rust off and polished it with some stove blacking some years ago. A great decorative piece. Or if you have access to blades and are enterprising, you could probably restore it to working order. Also, you'd need a donkey.

Planet Jr No. 2 Lawn Yard Edger (Antique) (maybe from 1920's, 1930's)
This tool is very old. Sometime back I found a web site that indicated that the tool was made in the early 1900's. Maybe around the 1920's or 1930's. I have not idea for sure as I could not find anything that gave detail facts. Made in the U.S.A. It is 43 long and can be extended to 45 1/2" The cutter/blade is 6" round. It does work. It appears to have the original finish. At the end of the handle there is a little wear(finish is worn off) and there is a very small area of damage at the very end of the handle. Rare 1919 Antique Planet JR. # 300-300A Farm Seeder
Up for Auction is a Rare 1919 Antique Planet JR. 300-300A Farm Seeder. The Oak Handles are in very good condition with no crack or splits. There are a few marks on the edges as well as the two oak frame pieces. The stenciling is still ledgable with some fading. The hopper is all cast iron vs tin, and all other parts are cast iron as well with a uniform coating of rust over all surfaces. The one cross member appears to have be repaired by brazing and is a nice repair. There are a few pieces missing, and the spring is broken, but otherwise a fantastic collectible. The Top of the Seeder Reads: PATD DEC 4 83. OCT 28 84, JUNE 2 85, NOV 22 87. The seeder wheel reads: Turnip, Cabbage, Sage, Carrot, Onion, Parsnip, Spinach, and Beet. Payment is by Paypal only. Rare Antique Cast Iron Planet Jr Cultivator Patent 1887 W/Cast Iron Leaf Lifters
Up for auction is a gorgeous and rare Planet Jr cultivator with the original cast iron leaf lifters. Even without the leaf lifters this cultivator would be a great find. The cast iron leaf lifters really make this old cultivator stand out. It has a patent date of 1887. The frame. Wheels and leaf lifters are all cast iron. The wheels are 11 1/4" in diameter and show some of the original black paint. There is a small chip in one of the wheels shown in pic 9. The frame shows some of the original green paint and is in great shape with no breaks or repairs. One handle was broken where the cross brace fits into the hole but was glued and screwed and is solid( pics 6& 7) As a display it will last a life time. Considering the rarity of this cultivator the repaired handle is minor. If you collect cultivators or old farm tools this beauty ... morewill be a stand out in your collection. US shipments only. Nice antique c1900 Planet Jr 300 300a push planter seeder. With lots of original paint, graphics and markings. Crack in left hand side handle is not all the way through. Still seems sturdy, but I would suggest repairing. Seeds still in hopper. Boy are they stinky! I will clean them out before shipping: I don't know much about this item. Not sure if its missing anything, but appears to be in working order. Will be shipped in 2 boxes handles removed from the unit and may remove wheels as well. I am guessing it weighs around 45-55 lbs. Antique PLANET JR. Cultivator Farm Garden Tool S30 with 5 Teeth
Up for auction is an antique Planet Jr. S30 cultivator. This tool seems to be in excellent working condition. But it does NOT include the handles, since they were too weather beaten to save. The cultivator cleaned up very well. I gave it 3 coats of paint. But another coat or two would probably make it look even nicer. I will let you know the exact paint used so you can touch it up yourself, if desired. Please be advised that I will only ship this to the lower 48 states.
