Pretty antique art deco perfume bottle stopper. Stamped Towle Sterling on the side. Same pattern that matches other Towle pieces that had brushes and daubers to match that were part of vanity sets. Measures about 2.5 inches tall, with the widest part on top almost 1 1/4 inches across. Has a ribbed design and is in great shape with no dents, just some surface scratches and dirt as it needs a good polishing and cleaning. It depicts a nude woman bathing by water with fish and flowers. It is an intaglio hand carved bottle which is in mint condition. I am the original owner and have never used it. The body has ridges that jut out to form 6 sides. The stopper also has 6 distinct lines all running up to form a point. This is a heavy bottle with a large round mouth. This bottle is probably from the 20's and is in excellent condition. It has the look of antique glass being clear but a just a tad dark in color. Vintage Beautiful CUT GLASS Art Deco Perfume Bottle STAR Design 3 7/8" Tall This beautiful vintage clear cut glass perfume bottle features a star design on 4 sides. This bottle is done in the Art Deco style. It is an octagon in shape and has geometric deep criss cross lines and patterns around the whole piece. The stopper is a glass rectangular faceted piece. It does have a tiny chip at the top of the stopper(please see photos) The bottle is in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs. The mouth of the bottle does have a small chip and an issue where one side of the glass is thinner than the other. This causes the stopper to not fit into it tightly. Vintage 1929 Art Deco Perfume Bottle, Czechoslovakia
Vintage late 1920's Art Deco perfume bottle. Made in Czechoslovakia. This bottle was a wedding present given to my mother, who was married in 1929. It is engraved"Made in Czechoslovakia" on the bottom of the bottle. This is a beautiful bottle with condition issues. It would be a lovely addition to a collection. As the damages do not mar its beauty. The stopper is in excellent condition. If the chip on the rim is placed at the back of the bottle, it is not noticeable when the bottle is displayed. The bottle is chipped on the four bottom corners. Three corners each have a tiny chip. And the fourth has a larger chip. The top rim of the bottle has a large chip. There is a piece of the glass rim, about one half the size of the chip, that could be glued to the rim to make a partial repair to the rim.
