Antique Maps of Oklahoma, Indiana, Indian Territory - 1890s
Antique maps of Indiana and Oklahoma(then Oklahoma Territory and Indian Territory) from an atlas published in the late 19th Century. These US state maps are printed back to back. So only one can be displayed at a time. Condition: Good. Lots of age toning around the margins. Which just adds to the appeal of the old map. The paper is fairly fragile, so map page will need to be protected from less than careful handling. Note: the page was just a bit too big for the scanner, so part of the margin area is not shown. The bottom margin of the Georgia map is wider than in the image. The Oklahoma map was printed a little crooked on the paper(as was common in the 19th century) but this will not show when it is framed. Of which some are single page plates, others are huge double page spreads. All are printed in full color: The Canadian Provinces. The individual states of the U.S. Including a map of the Indian Territory, which would become Oklahoma in 1909. Hawaii and Alaska not included, of course. Gorgeous maps of the larger cities of North America: Atlanta. No pockets in the rear, no embossed or perforated stamps, no annoying stickers, or any other sign of library ownership. SCARCE IN THE ORIGINAL CONDITION.
