It measures approximately 9 1/2 x 11 1/2(including the border areas) It is blank on the other side. Map is in Fair condition with the biggest problems appearing at the border areas. There are creases in the two bottom corners and rip extending from the top left corner into the map(see picture#5) Moderate browning and a few small rips along the edge. There are holes across the top where it was originally bound. There are some darker stains around some of the outer edges and some stains affecting the actual map area. This is a pair of Original Engraved maps of Jerusalem produced for"The New Peoples Cyclopedia of Universal Knowledge" Phillips and Hunt. New York, 1887. They are in great condition, the colors are good, no foxing. There are a few minors tears along the top edge, less than 1/8 inch. Each map measures 7 by 103/4 inches I am selling them as the pair and will look great framed. this is a great find.

I am offering a pair of 1887 Antique Celestial Hemishere Maps. They were engraved by Fisk and Co. New York. Published by Phillips and Hunt,New York 1887"The People's Cyclopedia of Universal Knowledge" They are in excellant condition. No foxing, no tears, minimum toning. The are folded in the middle still attached to the tab that secured them to the book. I am starting them at a great price for the pair and for the condition. I have seen these listed for much more and not as good of condition. Good Luck.

Antique Betts School Atlas Circa 1850- Published in London by John Betts 11 Engraved upon Steel and hand colored maps; beautifully inscribed in fountain pen" Charles George Dyett; Hamilton April 6th 1859" all the maps except for one are 16 inches long by 13 1/4 inches wide. except for the map of the world which is a little larger approximately 18.5 inches wide by 13.5 inches high; there is also a cut into the paper on the left hand edge please note the photo) The book has condition problem all of the maps have little tears along the edges as per the photo's and the map of Scotland has some doodling at the top in the boarder. The actual book has the title page as pictured and two blank pages at the front. The book is not complete a few maps are missing however we do have the following. 1. Australasia 2. Africa 3.
