Here is a double hung window sash that was original to my 1953 house. I kept the sashes.Storm windows and screens because I know someone may want them. These windows are unusual because they are diptych style made horizontally NOT vertical type 2 pane windows. The window sash measures 30 x 26 for the bottom and 30 x 25 for the top, both windows have the glass, the 2 pane openings measure 25.5 by 10.5 inches, very nice to make a picture frame with.Let me know what sash you would like, top or bottom one. The following is printed on the glass"GWI Tempered 16 CFR 1201 II, SGCC 958 1/BL R1, Dot 272 AS2 MI, 802. Point to point they measure 9-1/2" x 7-1/2" Sides are 6-1/8" long. Wood frame is 2" deep. These 2 vintage window sashes w ere removed from a house built in the 1938. The heavy and solid wood frames size is approx. 34 x 27 each. The 12 original glass panes are approx. 9-1/4 x 11-1/2. The frames have old chipping white paint on them, they have some dents and chips. Some of the exterior putty around the glass might be cracked here and there. One of the sash has a piece of wood chipped off the back, as you can see in the pictures. Please look at the pictures and feel free to ask any questions. Buy w ith confidence. Offering this set of 39 cast iron window sash cord pulleys. These pulleys were recently removed from my circa 1925 home. All are in original uncleaned condition and in working condition. The front face plate of the pulleys measure approximately 4" long. 1" wide, with the holes 3 1/4" apart on center. Overall depth of the pulleys is about 1 3/4" and the diameter of the wheel is also 1 3/4" I am also including 5 additional pulleys, for a total of 44 in this lot. I have separated the five because the pins that hold the pulley wheel in place have loosened and can be pulled out from the housing. The pins are not damaged. These pulleys are very solid and built to last. I just took this vintage window sash out of a early 1950's house. It is very solid with the glass intact. The sash measures 22 7/8' wide by19 1/8' tall. It has a weathered exterior and an aged varnished interior with the glass measuring 6 3/8' by 7 7/8' tall. All 6 panes are intact but do not guarantee that it will make it shipping it by USPS. This sash would be great for a hobby project-wedding-menu or shabby chic look. Lot of 5 antique embossed/stamped/pressed gilt brass window valances fragments
Lot of five antique embossed gilt window valance fragments. Probably 1870s or so- Victorian Period. Gilt is either gold or metal and leaf. The metal does not respond to a magnet so I think these are thin pressed brass. The longest piece is the bright one- about 19&1/2" wide and 2&3/4" high. The two dark ones are about 18" long and are of a matching design- they may have been one piece at one time. The other two are smaller. Condition is as found(estate find) and as shown. These are fragments- the two dark ones are beat up and have been cleaned at some point. The bright ones are nice- some minor holes/piercing in one- also shows evidence of a scissor cut. The long bright one is in nice shape. While these are only fragments, a good creative person can find many interesting uses for them.
