This window sash lift from the 1880s by Sargent was taken off a building in the Soulard area in St Louis. The Victorian design is quite pretty and elegant. It is still in good condition with light surface wear and mild rust. This is the only one that was not re-purposed in the restoration done by my uncle in the 1980s. He estimated the age of the lift from the age of the house. I found it when I was looking for something in his old tool box for him. This measures approx 3" across and 1.5" tall. Rococo Victorian Window Sash lift or Pull. This Antique Sash Lift is Cast iron and dates to around 1890. It has a Wonderful Rococo design replete with Curling Leaves and Anthemions- all Highlighted by the original Copper Wash- in ex condition with light surface wear. 7842 on back.
