Wonderful 4 pc lot of cast iron window sash locks that are marked Champion. Some have a little more wear than others. But all are in overall good antique condition. Please look closely at the pictures. The inner latch works are cleverly concealed. These antique locks seem to be in great working condition. They measure 1 3/4" high all put together. The top eagle claw piece measures about 2 1/2" wide, the holes are 2" apart. The smaller bottom piece measures 2 3/8" wide and the holes are 1 3/4" apart. Great piece for remodeling. These 23 BEAUTIES starting with the ones on the upper left are 2 1/2 inches across and the ones in the middle are 2 inches across and the far right and bottom locks are 2 inches and 2 1/4 inches across. As you can see these are various designs. The LARGE ones on the top left have SOLID brass or brons bottoms but the top and all others have a NICE design and most are CAST IRON and a few have BRASS centers. These are a rare matched set of 4 Victorian ornate cast iron window sash locks. With the remains of original paint and a fine film of rust, making for a wonderful patina that only comes with age. These measure 2 1/4" long on the backplates x 1" wide. The half circles are 2 1/4" x 1 1/8" wide. These have raised lettering on the back PAT. JAN.4& JUNE 13 1876. There are no chips or cracks. I recently acquired several large boxes of vintage hardware from a Simmons Hardware in McComb Ohio. Alot of these items are in a marked boxes and have hand writing on the from the old school fountain pens or even quill pens.not real sure. Two super cool old window sash locks that were in a turn of the century victorian. You may know more by looking at them than I do. They are likely cast iron from similar ones I looked at on eBay. One has a keeper with it. Also with these is a slightly newer one- but still vintage- I think is brass. All three function fine but just are dirty from being stored away for years. Two original Antique Victorian cast iron and bronze"eagle claw" window sash locks only no keepers/ catches. Matching original or reproduction keepers can be found online. This exquisitely ornametal window hardware is from the 1880's. The patented Eastlake style 1886. Eagle Claw double hung sash locks were made by the H. B. Ives Company of New Haven, Connecticut. They are original antiques which are made of cast iron and have beautiful bronze handles with a patented dual action lock function. These 10 antique window sash locks are a terrific find! They have to be quite rare. They are in the"oriental" pattern and their ornate artwork features bamboo. Flower buds and other floral detail. Cast brass, the locks are spring loaded, and pushing the round grip releases the lock. All are in working condition. We have not cleaned or polished these items in any way. Here we have 4 matching Victorian window sash locks which are getting harder and harder to find. They are made of cast iron with a beautiful brass or bronze release knob. They do have printing on them but I can not make it out. They are probably made by either Payson or Eastlake. As you well know they made intricate window locks with a quality mechanism. These locks are all in working order and measure 2 1/2' wide with the screw holes 1 3/4' on center. I did not attempt to clean them up as I will let the new owner restore them to their liking. I do not think you will be disappointed in these locks and maybe they are just what you need to finish your restoration project. The latches have a paten date of March 24.1868. All are in working order and the knobs are brass. They are as found, I don't clean or polish things. Cleaned and the knobs polished they would be great. I wish there were more latches but that is what was in the box, I did have to oil one to get it to move. The 2-inch lock bolt extends about ½-inch into the catch and can be retracted flush by pulling the knob and twisting it slightly. All six locks work well. The lock base is about 1-1/8 x 1-¼ inch. The latch plates are about 1 5/16 inches x 9/16 inches. They all are iron with a coppery finish that appears more brassy in the photos. All have some level of finish loss and oxidation as shown in the photos.

Up for auction here is 3 cast iron fancy Victorian window sash locks. These types of locks or hardware are getting harder and harder to find as they are disappearing very quickly. These locks are in the same condition as when I took them off the windows many years ago. I did not attempt to clean them up as I will let the new owner do as he likes with them. If you look closely at my picture the word"CHAMPION' appears on the top of the lock. These 3 locks are all in working order. All you have to do is do a little clean up and a little oil and you will have 3 mighty fine locks in working order from the Victorian era.
