VINTAGE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BRASSLATCH WINDOW ICE BOX HANDLE LOCK
up for auction is One brass latch. We have 18 in total. buy 1 or All! each measure 5 1/2 inches long. One(1) antique cast brass window latch. Overall these are in very good condition. As seen some have more paint that others left on them. I did not clean them becuase some people like the"chippy" look. The paint does come off relatively easy. All of them turn freely. Some need a little more effort than others but all do move easily. These are solid brass. Please view pictures closely. This style and size and the fact that they are solid cast brass/bronze make these some of the hardest to find latches. With the price of brass and the fact that almost everything today is imported and made out of some type of cheap pot metal makes the likelihood of anything like these being made again slim to none. These are primarily used on casement ... morewindows but they work well and look great on cabinets or other places you’d like to use a unique looking latch. The latch and keeper will work on either right or left hand side of door or window. The latches are surface mounted and the keepers are mortised in the jam. I also have some on another listing that the keepers are surface mounted. The latches and keepers are cast bronze– brass. The working condition is very good with the latches having an age darken spotted patina(what you see is not rust. Brass doesn’t rust)

2 Vtg 8x12 Jadite Green Purple Slag Mission Glass Window Pane Architectural Lamp
VINTAGE SLAG GLASS WINDOW PANELS You will receive 2 panels. The same 2 panels are shown in all photos. Actual measurements are just under 7" x 11 3/4" The colors are very deep and rich blending in shades of green. Amethyst and cream. Both sides are smoothly textured but one is glossy with very light texturing. These are absolutely spectacular antique panes. The windows were salvaged out of an old church in Augusta. Ga but not used. The frames have since deteriorated but this gorgeous marbled slag glass remains damage free and waiting to be repurpose. It can be used in other frames, furniture, building renovation, lamps or dozens of other projects. I have at least 30 undamaged in this size available so if your project is large this is perfect. There are broken pieces which could be cut for smaller size windows. Repairs, experiments, ... moreprojects or crafts to keep from using actual panes. Message for larger quantities and/or for pieces. I believe cast iron, victorian, antique salvage, fluer de leis design, window covers. they measure 15 3/8"long x 15 1/8" wide. the center wreath w/fluer de leis measures 10 1/2" long x 11 3/8" wide. both, have as i've tried to show in the pics, have some rust crosion but are in tact with no broken gaps on the frame. i used a wire brush with soap and water to clean them then sprayed with rustoleum rust prevention and black top coat of outdoor paint. they have 6 screw holes on the frame. the 2 weigh 14 1/2 lb. for your shipping information. they are fantastic victorian salvage. i ship U.S.A. and happily accept pay pal.

We are offering a very nice old window latch or lock. Probably dating to the Victorian era. The latch is a smooth metal with a cast ornate pattern and takes two wood screws(not included) The'catch' looks more like a hammered steel or iron with a similar but different pattern along the outside edge that would show. It also takes 2 wood screws(not included) The latch works nicely and fits the catch like they were made together, but I do not think they began life together. With the space between screw holes at 2" center to center. Antique pocket shutters
Original victorian era pocket shutters. Each set consists of a lower and upper pair. Each pair measuring 36-1/2" tall and 36" wide. The maximum panel width is 9-1/2" Each set will shutter a window that is approximately 73" tall and 36" wide. I do not believe that the wood is oak(as the graining in the photos might suggest) as it appears that it's a faux oak finish. Only the outside face panel is painted but as you can see. ANTIQUE Leaded Glass Window 48 X 62 Mich Farmhouse BIG
This original antique window is a real beauty! Glass is original in both upper and lower panels. It has the wavy lines and small bubbles in the glass that are normal for the age of this piece! It is from an old farm house in Michigan and has been on display in my home for the last 15 years. The window frame measures 48 inches wide by 62 inches tall. The diamond pattern leaded glass at the top measures 43 1/2 inches wide by 15 1/2 inches tall. The bottom pane of glass measures 43 1/2 inches wide by 40 inches tall. One side of the window is painted white. Original to the home and the other side is wood with maybe a varnish over it. Whatever it is, it has not been re finished! 8 Vintage Brass / Steel Escutcheons: New Old Stock: Lengths: 4" to 5 1/2"
We are a 141 years old family run hardware store. And we found these when looking at stock we haven't examined in many decades. The They vary in length from 4" thru 5 1/2" actual pivoting fastener(Brass) is 1 3/4" in length, while the widths range from 1 1/4" thru 1 1/2" They are from loose old stock that was used for samples and display. They do show their age, as can be seen in the pictures, but for restoration folk these sort of objects are always handy, as they can be used in many circumstances where the rest of the object also shows its age. Such wear also provides the basis for a decent price!
