Vintage Rustic Country Chic Window with Latch
Very neat old vintage window that was on hinges that swung open. Latch remains on the piece. Glass is in very good condition with no chips or scratches. The glass is old with ripples if you look down at a certain angle. I tried to capture that with the camera. But it doesn't look the same as in person. It was painted white and yellow at one time as you can tell by the remaining paint. The back of the piece is mostly yellow. It measures 38 inches high, by 33.5 inches wide, by 1.5 inches deep. Penn Antique Restoration. ~ 10 Antique ~ 45"x38" French Sash Windows w/12 Glass Lites. Although there are 10 available. The list price is for 1 window. If the quantity above is less than 10, this indicates that 1 or more pairs sold. What an amazing opportunity! Lovely. Antique French windows salvaged from a former cream production plant(see last photo) in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The plant was built during the 1890's and many of the windows were original to the plant's construction. Although a few windows may have been made after that period; all are solid wood. Each window is made of solid pine and has 12 glass lites. The lites are secured with old-fashioned glazier's putty on the exterior(green) side. No hardware included. These windows were originally installed as double-hung pairs. If you buy several windows with ... morethe intention of installing them as pairs. Please let us know after the auction. Each window is painted white on the interior side and green on the exterior side. We could either completely strip the paint. Or prep the surface of the for a fresh coat of paint. Removed from a home built around 1900 and updated in the 1920's with these shutters. They were removed in the 1940's and have been stored since then. Eight shutters meas ure approximately 14" x 54" x 1 1/8" and two measure 14" x 42" x 1 1/8. Each one has a pair of hinges on them. And chipped in others, giving it a great shabby chic look! They adjust aprox. from 30" to 50" each half-rod being 27" in length. Antique pair of exterior shutters with tree cutouts. Top layer of peeling chipped paint is white and under that is a vintage green. These strong and sturdy panel shutters are 1 3/8" thick with no warping or rot. They are very well made. They are really awesome. I have many more. They are all from an old house in MA. Vintage wood windows/doors, Lot 4, 1" & 3/4" thick, 25/28" x 45/47",1901, 2 Pair
Offered is a lot of 4 window frames. Or two matching pairs. Windows came from a home built in 1901. Pick up only- Seattle area near Space Needle or can deliver for mileage fee of $50.00 within 25 mile radius of Space Needle. Ferry tolls additional if needed. Payment required prior to pick up or delivery. One pair of the window frames are 3/4 inch thick and each frame has two panels of glass. All sections of glass in both panels is old wavy glass and the glass appears perfect with no cracks nor starts of them in any of the 4 panels. Few areas could use update on putty. This 3/4 inch thick pair is 47 1/8 inches tall by 25 1/8 inches wide. The glass area-top sections are 18 by 20 3/4 inch approx. and the lower sections are 22 by 20 3/4 inch approx. Original latches(matching) on both frames and hinge portions. The other similar but not identical ... moreone pair is 1 inch thick and one frame is missing its glass. Both frames measure 28 3/4 inch wide by 45 1/4 inch tall by 1 inch thick frame. The glass area is approx. 24 inches by 40 inches. Identical original latches and portions of the hinges are on the frames. The frame with the original wavy glass. Needs putty and I have secured the getting loose glass into the frame to avoid breakage with a nail& cardboard you will see in the photo. There are no cracks, nor starts of them, evident on the glass in this panel. The frame with the missing glass has a matching latch, is same size, and is included because of this and maybe useful. One area of the wood frame wiggles abit and may need reinforcements. All windows have been stored indoors and in a dry environment for many years. I see no rot or wood deterioration. Other than loose joints in the missing glass 1" frame. I believe the wood type is clear fir wood. Thank you

Lot of 8 brown shutters. Each shutter by itself measures 7.25 by 36 inches. The hinge piece measures 1.25 by 36 inches. Please see picture of second set of shutters where the hinge piece is on the same side as the pair. The hinge can easily be unscrewed to fit on the opposite side of shutter. This lock is great condition. The keeper still has sharp details. These have a swing arm eagle claw mechanism made of cast iron and the keeper is cast iron. Lock and keeper may have a couple spots of old paint on them. Lock has a Pat. date of 1883 or 1888 it’s really difficult to read.
