This is such a pretty piece of New Orleans architectural cast iron. It is an old French. New Orleans style, seen everywhere. In gates and balconies, cemetaries and walkways. It is one of the most ornate. We ship this piece unrusted, so that you can paint or rust it up as you like. It can be welded or drilled. It is designed for outdoor use and will last a lifetime. We researched this Vintage flyswatter and found quite an interesting history. They were first pattented in 1900 by R.R. Montgomery as the fly killer. Then sighting a webbed design was needed so as not to send a air blast warning to the fly. Which would happen with a solid surface rolled newspaper for instance. Later improvements were made with patent no. 1727768.The one listed on this tag.see picture.that was by inventor Erskine P. Harley. We believe this to be from 1926. It is in very fine condition. No rips or tears. the wooden handle has all red paint.and the shaft is straight and unbent. This is the finest antique swatter i have seen.Good luck on the bidding! For your consideration we have a very cool vintage. Metal oscillating sprinkler. They just don't make them like this anymore. This sprinkler, made by the notable manufacturer Nelson, is in great pre-owned condition with only minor signs of wear and tear/age. There is some paint loss and scratching, but overall the sprinkler still looks great. The sprinkler is marked Nelson Metal Series on the top along with a US patent number on the bottom. It measures approx. 20 inches long by almost 7 inches wide. It has 4 settings which are center, full, left and right for optimal water coverage on your lawn. This is an estate piece. A fine antique, original artwork, a classical marble sculpture for the home or garden. The Italian marble bust is a representation of Dante's Muse. Beatrice prtrayed as a Goddess. It is another unique item from the W.M.V. Hoffman estate of Tuxedo Park, N.Y. Beatrice has a sublime look and wears a crown of Laurel leaves. The bust is approx. 14-1/8" tall and 12-1/8" wide(shoulder to shoulder) It weighs just over 28 pounds. The marbling is visible. Please view the photos. The marble is signed" A. Frilli" as seen in the rubbing that I made from the bust. The strokes of the artists chisel are still visible. There is a metal channel or tube for a post on the base(see photo) Antonio Frilli was an important listed Italian artist circa 1860-1902. He founded the Frilli Gallery in Florence in 1860. Up for auction is this vintage 18 1/4" long brass one-piece firefighter nozzle that belonged to the Lynn. Mass. Fire Department. The brass nozzle has a 3" opening to attach to a fire hose and a 1 1/8" opening at the top. The nozzle has many dings from years of use but still is as usable as when it was new. Weighs just over 3 lbs. before packaging. A nice find for the collector of vintage firefighter merchandise or for the buyer who wants to either use the nozzle or give it as a gift to the firefighter in the family.

Beautiful Primitive Old Vintage Wrought Iron Window Box Planter Box Garden Box Who-hoo- went to my first auction of the summer- it was a farm estate auction literally right down the street from me. The former owners had lived there since he had gotten out of the military after enlisting during WWII. And her family had been on the property for generations before that. It’s all farm stuff- household, barn, outbuildings, property- many items from the 1800s and up. Lot of old iron, barn digs, primitives and pretties- I’m so excited to show them to you! Enjoy! Good news! If you are looking for a nice old iron window box with lots of rustic primitive charm- your search is over! What I have is an older vintage wrought iron wall mounting window box- isn't it great? Made of wrought iron. This oldee has seen some time outside, and has the BEST ... moreshabby rusty patina. You can see just peeks of the original white(like I'm showing in photo 14) but the peeks are few and far between- mostly just the rust covered iron. It's surface only- no sharp edges etc. You could paint it if you wanted to, but I love it just the way it is. This is a nice sized box- measuring 35 1/2" widest- from the outside of the decorative curled loops all around, 32 1/2" wide measuring from inside of the box, 9 7/8" deep(front to back) on the outside, 8 1/4" deep inside the box at the top, 7 3/4" deep inside the box at the bottom/floor of the box, 5 3/4" tall measuring from the bottom to the top of the curly loops, and 4 1/2" tall from the bottom to the frame that runs along the inside(onto which the curly loops are welded) It weighs 5 1/2 lbs. At the back, there's 3 up pointing triangles from which you mount the box. Perfect for you to line with moss and plant in, but large enough for you to put individual potted plants in too. It's in excellent solid and sturdy condition. I did find one of the vertical curly cues that has become unattached to the frame at the top only- but totally attached to the botto

Oh my gosh- this pair is soooo cool! I'm calling them older vintage in my title. But I do think that they could be old enough to be antique- and how often have you see ones like this? It's a pair of wrought iron garden spikes- meant to stick in the ground and hold tall tapered candles. ... moreIt's a matching pair- perfect for the entry to your walkway or garden- and what a statement they will make! The each measure 39" tall in total, 38" tall to the top of the drip trays, the drip trays are 4 1/4" diameter, but 5 1/4" wide as there's a decorative loop of iron on 4 sides, 3/4" square at the candle well(it's square, as it's made of 4 pieces of flat iron coming up, but it held my grocery store bought standard tapered candles well when I tried them) and the pole that sticks in the ground is 3.8" diameter. The pole alone is 35 1/4" tall from the bottom of the drip tray to the bottom of the pole- so you have lots of room to adjust and decide- how tall, or how short you want them to be. Each candle holder weighs 1 1/2 lbs. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition. With a very very worn black finish that you really only see peeks of from the underside of the drip trays. On the top, and the poles, it's pretty much a coating of surface rust- surface only, with no holes, or eat throughs etc. There's more pitting to the iron on the bottom ends of the poles where they stuck in the ground(see photo 10- sorry for
