ANTIQUE NEOCLASSICAL ENGLISH IRON GARDEN URN This beautiful neoclassical shape urn is a genuine antique. Circa early 1800s but could be late 1700s. Many layers of paint were stripped and the urn was polished with a wire brush. It’s thick and heavy cast iron with fine details and it is still in perfect condition. No chips, no cracks. However, from over 200 years of use since the metal inside was pretty much rusted it shows deep cavities, which will not be noticeable ... morewhen the urn is filled with dirt. It is a planting urn because it has a drain, therefore your plants will not drown and can feel comfortable in this urn for many years. This urn comes apart into two parts. Vintage German Hedge Clippers
Here is a pair of vintage German made hedge trimmers/clippers. Wooden handles are pressed on. Not through-bolted or rivited in place. I used these monthly until just recently, they work just fine. I have poured over this item with a glass, and the only marking I can find is the worn word'GERMANY' stamped into one of the blades just between the handle and nut. There is a crack in one of the handles, from pressing it on too tightly.These clippers weigh in at 3 lbs. and are ready to get back to work, or put on display in the Aggie barn at the County Fair.

Antique RARE Cast Iron & Metal Wire Arrangement Holder Flower Frog
Description This unusual and rare antique flower frog would have been used to create a beautiful floral arrangement. Vintage flower frogs are very popular and still used today. This one dates to c1920. The top wire is in a star shape. The others are circles to hold the flower stems. The wires can be bent to allow flowers to rest in any direction. The heavy cast metal base holds the flowers securely. These frogs will fit in the bottom of any bowl or vase that is more than 4" diameter. The underside of the base still has its original green paint. The top paint is worn from use over the decades. Measurements: 4" in diameter at the base and is 8" tall. These types of rotary hoe wheels were used way back in the turn of the century late 1890's when things were all horsedrawn. It's one of the oldest types out there. They can sometimes be difficult to find not something you see alot very unique type. Our family has farmed for many generations and we were very happy to find such an old special piece of farm history. The wheel measures appr. 19" in diameter and is made of all cast iron that has rusted from age. This would be perfect for using as a primitive decor item outdoors or in a old barn/shed hanging up. It's a great piece of farm history thats wonderful to look at and is something that can be placed in many different places and look great. Very large antique garden Gnome. He has the requisite damage for an old guy who has brought good luck to gardens for quite a while. He has been reinforced through the years with cement. I think he's made of terracotta but I honestly don't know. There is substantial paint loss but still enough to make this a very attractive and rare piece. He stands 19 high. 15 deep and about 9 wide. A very rare and hard to find Gnome. He can hold your garden tools or some spring tulips! From our Personal 35 year brick collection. Offering this Old. Unused Clay Brick. From the BRIGHAM Brick Co. This is a One of a Kind Brick. It hasn't been used. Because it's a second. Which normally would have been dumped in the Husdon, or. Later on, some Brick Companies ground their seconds up and re-used for new bricks. Seconds are tough to find. And have some of the Best Character of All Bricks. THIS IS A SWEET BRICK. GREAT CONDITON, AND DISPLAYS NICELY AND HAS LOT'S OF CHARACTER From back in the day. When bricks were made by hand. The Brigham Brick Company was located in East Kingston. N.Y. In the Hudson River Valley Region of the Catskill Mountains This particular mold I share with you. Is part of our collection. I show it to give an example of how these particular bricks were molded The brick molder. Would take a clot of ... moreclay, roll it around in sand, then"dash" into to mould, which was sanded, so the clay didn't stick. The clay was then pressed into this mold by hand, with the excess clay being removed from the top of each mold with a strike. Which was a flat stick that was soaked in water. The brick I offer here. Would have been made in a mold such as this. I always create Large Precise Images, so you can get the Full Jist of what your getting. for some reason. The digital image color hue varies from actual) I gave it a surface washing only. If so desired. You can give it a good cleaning. I Enjoy the bricks better when they aren't spic and span clean. There are a few minor chips. But none to be concerned about. Condition is very good with normal paint chips. Very little rust on this one. No Cracks or Breaks. Marked 13 on the back. Measures 30 x 19 inches and stands 10 inches from the wall.
