It is mounted on a hinged board and has a metal plate on one end to hold it against a counter. The slicer looks to have its original red and gold paint. This is a rare electric#12 Chop-Rite meat grinder chopper with three meat grinder plates and five food slicer attachments that are similar to the Salad Master manual food slicer. I was not able to find any other units like this one on the internet. It is very heavy and made in the U.S.A. It is in perfect running condition and all the parts are in excellent. Clean condition for a vintage item. The motor is 1/2 HP and very quiet. The previous owner had it for many years and has kept it properly oiled. There is a place on the top to add oil. There is an on/off switch on the back. The cord should probably be replaced as it has some cracks. There is very little surface rust on the meat cutting plates. Please see photos for details. Circa 1900 Antique Enterprise Mfg Improved Rotary Beef Meat Shaver Slicer No 125
An Circa 1900 Antique Enterprise Mfg Co Improved Rotary Beef Shaver No. 125 in"as found" condition. This pieces has some all surface rust and some paint loss but there is enough paint and stripping left to see what it originally looked like. You can crank the mechanism and it does seem to perform all of the motions. We would not recommend using it as a meat slicer today but would be good for display in a collection. Has a drawer with all of the pieces. The wooden base is present but could you a cleaning and refinishing. It measures 23 1/2" in length by 11 1/8" deep by 20 1/2" high. Is very heavy and will have to be picked up or buyer may arrange for shipping. Check out the photos!
