Looks great although it does has some surface rust and wear overall. And some dust on the surface need to be cleaned up. It has a nice spinning wood handle. It may be made of heavy cast iron. Vintage Eclipse cast iron meat grinder with wooden handle
Vintage Eclipse Brand heavy duty castiron meat grinder with wooden handle. Has 3 patent dates on it April 25 99. March 8 92. October 16 1906 It is 10½” long and 6½” x 3½” wide. It is built to clamp down solid and there are no chips or cracks but does have edge wear and signs on rust on outside nut and inside screw piece. Turns with no issues. Clamps Right on with a few spins.

Hi. You are looking at a cast iron tinned meat grinder made by Enterprise. It features a wooden handle and'Pat. Jan.30.83 Apl.13.86, Philadelphia U.S.A. on one side. It has been left in its original condition with no restorations. It has more of a gray appearance than silver. There is rust throughout and some small spots of paint. The interior looks nicer but is also rusty. The strain plate has surface rust as well. The copper ring on the wooden handle has turned green and is loose. The handle turns but does make a lot of noise. It sits flat on a flat surface and is able to be screwed down. It is complete and appears to work properly. Pieces look much better when disassembled. This company, Landers, Frary& Clark, dates back to 1829 and made all sorts of household appliances, gadgets and housewares, right here in the USA. In 1965, it was acquired by The General Electric Company. I will include a short paper describing the interesting history of this company. Very old. Probably from the 1920's but is in great shape! Best Made" meat grinder with wooden handle. Number 45 Made in the USA apparently from cast iron. Very heavy! Appears to have all of it's parts and was very well taken care of as there is very little rust. Most of the blue paint from the handle has been worn off. There is one very small rub wear spot along the top rim that does go through the finish that is about 1/10"d.
