Antique meat grinder by L. F. C. New Britain Conn(USA) No. 1 Universal Food Chopper This meat grinder is old and has loads of patina. Just the way collectors like it. I have not tried to clean it, nor have I disassembled it. The handle turns as it should, and the wing nut that holds the blade assembly together turns as it should as well. LF & C New Britain Conn USA No. 0 Universal Food Chopper Late 1800s-early 1900
We brought this out of storage a while back. Belonged to the in-laws. It is in dire need of cleaning and that is something I don't know anything about when it comes to items like this. This is cast iron. Please check out the pics for all the lettering on this item. The original tag to chopper is torn but saved most of it. The pics show what attachments there are. I show it apart and together. Nut goes on very easily. The box is not original. It's what it was kept in and will go with it. It's a wooden box. The lid and one short side is off. Front label on box is partially there and says Pineapples New York on one side and the other side says E. C. Ri-rest of label missing.
